  • i just found a rotel rx-830 on the side of the road. dont know if it works though

  • @EASTYJAZ34 Cool, Mine was given to me, they are among the cleanest sounding amps in my stereo collection, If you have any issues, let me know.

  • @SpeakerFreak95 no worries mate. it works now its really good also.

nice clean sound, smooth highs and great mids. and the bottom end is good also.

  • LoL, I just stabbed the SAME model SCOTT receiver in at my dad's store to drive two "de-converted" ceiling speakers for background noise.. :D I saved the 75v to 8ohm transformers when I removed 'em.. still going strong since 1964 or so, but the speakers ARE starting to rot away. My SCOTT has a dead tuner build, and won't tune in stereo at all, but I only needed it for an AUX input

  • @Sansui350A cool, LOL maybe a bad transistor or broken foil trace on the tuner section?

  • why is pixie missing her tail?

  • @SuperMad97 thats the way Jack russels come from the hospital, google it.

  • looks kinda like a fisher i used to have for my work shop radio /amp

  • @compwiz878 Yes, it does.

  • @SpeakerFreak95 hmm im thinking this is an off brand fisher

  • Very nice find. You should get many good hours of listening out of it. Nice to hear my friends R.E.O. on the radio.

  • @AllAmericanFiveRadio LOL thanks.

  • sounds great for $15 i would buy the receiver alone for $15 lol

  • @1000bassnut I got the thing for my dad, He got the amplifier, I got the realistic speakers.

  • Nice deal!

  • @jwl329 thanks!

  • Mr. Scott invented the RC Oscillator, the selectively tuned RC circuit, various RC filters and the modern sweep circuit. He is perhaps best known for inventing the Dynaural Noise Suppressor, and held more than 100 patents (U.S. and foreign) for original research in the field of electronics.

  • @TheHackWhite yep.

  • Herman hosmer scott

  • @TheHackWhite ok?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but, H.H. Scott was one of the highest recognized brands of its time with maranatz because they made the first I think high band tuner

  • @TheHackWhite well, yes, but their later products, (right....after this thing) were complete trash.

  • NICE! It's my favorite brand of stereos / speakers. I'd do anything for that.

  • @TheHackWhite I cant sell it, I gave it to my dad.
