@Lovesthemusic1 What a privilege it must have been to know her. Me. Welk said she was a very gracious lady. Folks really are not familiar with her tremendous work before the Welk show, for instance she is singing back-up for Bing on the first White Christmas recording. Long time STAR. No doubt she knew her GOD but more importantly, I believe her GOD knew her. Thanks for the great comment. Charlie

Sad news fans. The lovely Norma Zimmer who'll always be remembered as the beautiful Champagne Lady from 1960 to the show's cancellation in 1982. Has passed away this week. She has such a sweet singing voice that makes us feel so happy at heart. And she also appeared with the legendary Billy Graham on many of his crusades during the 70's & 80's. Good-bye Ms. Zimmer and Thanks for the memories. Norma Zimmer 1923-2011 : ( ....

I would like to pay tribute to this beautiful wonderful inspiring lady with the voice of an angel. My favorite part of every LW show is her solo. Now she is an angel singing in the heavenly chorus.
