No your not confused I just got it wrong. I thought you were referring to "Three ha'pence a foot" as I had already viewed "It's a Great Big Shame" at Xmas and before that.. Not to worry. Any more in the pipe line? (I look up all I can find on the music hall scene). It's thin on the ground because it's so hard to get so ta again.
Got it! This is your new addition. Sorry I didn't get it at first. It was too familiar so didn't realise. Ta again but it isnt't it longer than this? (might be wrong. Things seem bigger as a child) so just wondered. So good to hear it again.
I think I was talking about the Gus Elen track I had just posted, 'It's a great big shame'. It was in my reply to your comment on 'Arf a pint of ale'. Unless I am totally confused now.
My mother was born in Bury and her mother and father were born in Heywood (Hopwood) and Grandma used to relate these poems to us. They bring back very happy memories in bad times. I used to love the optimisim and humour "I think it'll brighten up yet'!!!. Thank you again although I havn't found your new addition as yet (but sure I will). Ta.
