@Blakestefer 2K Sports should had continue making these games I have it and its an awesome video game experience with great controls and amazing game play it would have been a great franchise by now if they would had continued producing and working on it. Probably would have given EA Sports Madden Football a real run for its money kinda like how NFL 2K5 exposed Madden back in 04 for been the weak as product that it was.

@Elvception1979 EA sports took over the NFL license. 2K was not allowed to produce another NFL game after 2k5 and to this day they still aren't allowed to produce a NFL game. It's a shame, but there's nothing a company can do when battling a force that has 10000000000 times more cash.

so don't drop back 15 yards with the QB and expect to make passes consistently.

and the defense is very fast so stick with your blockers when running the ball

The black screen transitions were a bit annoying. I know you were trying to make the transitions match the music and give it a bit of a slide show reel quality, but so many black screens is a poor way of doing it.

Instead of moving to black, I would have just moved onto the next clip. The sudden transition from one clip to the next would have served the same purpose as a black screen. Of course that would require more footage :).

Wow, 2K makes very realistic and great football games. Anyone know when the contract ends with EA? See thats why I like when 2K makes sports games with EA. Some competition, makes them actually WANT to make the game better.

yeah a franchise would have been nice, but there really wasn't much of a way for them to implement that feature due to the fact that you are playing with retired athletes during their prime.

So the players wouldn't age and there would be no draft classes.

I was disappointed to find out that you couldn't customize your season mode with created teams and the limit on players and teams you could make.

I was going to make my own season with all NFL teams and players.

I used to play this but it started to get anoyying. A fucking gold star defensive tackle could hawk barry sanders down from 10 yards back. And gold stars safeties are so fast, on a 92 yard run, I spun off a safety at the 30 and the gold star safety (Ronnie Lott) chased Barry sanders down from the 29 yard line to the 6 yard line on the other side.
