  • chick looks like he just jumped ship ;p

  • This is the song/album that got me into music.

  • And look at the smiles on their faces! They're having so much fun!

  • AMAZING

  • Stamley has no peer on that bass....

  • PRODIGIEUX !

  • holy shit!

  • que GROSOS!!!

  • WOW!! Thank you for posting this!! Of all the songs they have performed in this incarnation of Return To Forever, This is my favorite song and my favorite album (Romantic Warrior). All four of them played their parts!! I have always thought that Chick overdubbed the keyboard parts, but after seeing him do it live with various analog synthesizers of that time, I was mesmerised!

  • @mrexcellent1

My favorite is the second long "groovy" piece on the first side but the Romantic Warrior album is absolutely SUPERB so every tune is a pure classic in my view...the best album ever all categories WOW :-)

  • I THINK THIS IS THE BEST PIECE OF MUSIC

  • There be some serious Godhead here!

  • Saw 'em play this LIVE back in the 70's in Vancouver, Canada. AWESUM!!! And Lenny White was beyond description!!! Great post. ~KK

  • may I ask you someting? just four string for the bass????

  • Man, Chick was one of the dorkiest looking guys out there! But man, what a musician!

  • Awesome, vicious, wicked, etc. etc. etc. Musician's musicians!!!

  • The digital revolution is here!

  • i play music like this ...when i'm in a mental hospital..hahaha

  • And what a fine mental hospital it would be! :)

  • crazy.... just crazy!

  • What keyboard is that, replacing polymoog?

  • @grabngonuts I think it's an Arp Odyssey. No longer made.

  • @VladtheEmailer No its not an Odyssey I used to have one back in the 70's. It sounds like some kind of ARP because it goes out of tune in one section. ARP sythns were notoriuos for going out of tune because most them had voltage controlled oscillators. The later synths had more dependable crystal controlled.

  • @MrJohnboy006 I think we are talking about two different things LOL. I was answering the guy that asked what was replacing the polymoog in the keyboard pileup. Yes, you are right, definitely looks like an ARP for sure! They really did go out of tune, but then again so did the moogs back then! ;-)

  • @grabngonuts And underneath is some crappy organ. Interesting sound, but eh, why not a hammond?

  • FUKCING CHICK!!!! He always has the weirdest tones to his fukcing keys!!!!! Fukcing CLARKE WITH HIS CRAZY SHIT AS USUAL!!!!

  • "The Other Guy"... XD

  • Fantastic Upload! Finally it's here! Many Thanks!!!

  • "The other guy" would be Al Di Meola ^^

  • Unbelievable music!!! All hail Chick, Stanley, Lenny and the other guy....

  • finally, a video of them doin this live
