For a long time, I have wondered why so much talent appears on Youtube, Myspace, et al but does not go into the charts. I realise now why this is. If Youtube was a radio/television station there would be no percentages for the middle men such as Cowell and Walsh. Neither too, would they be able to shape the public's image of what popular music should be and limit the number of 'stars' on the market. *****
