Not really. They feed beer to the Japanese Kobi beef cattle, as well as give them massages. If it was bad John Sherriffs wouldn't be giving it to her.

Just watching her on youtube makes my heart swell with joy and forces a smile on my face.She is so breath taking..beautiful..special and Mr Shirreffs is so wonderful with her. Here is my solution to all of it - Race at Belmont VBG that way I can see it :) it is only a 7 hour drive for me to there :) at least you all are close I am in Maine ...tears tears tears........ I have to love Zenny from afar and depend on the graciousness of John and his videos, thank God for them , :)

6 days gives Rachel time for an extra work and an extra week to rest after her first race of the year. it also helps Zenyatta because she has never run on only three week's rest.

p.s. please be more respectful toward Rachel fans, i really don't think Mr. Sheriffs wants to "hush" them, i'm sure he has tremendous respect for Rachel, as Mr. Asmussen probably has for Zenyatta.

I cancelled the room, have the tickets for souvenirs and may stop crying by the time they race!U know I don't care about RA at all,,I just wanted to see my girl and I was so sure she would be there on 4/3. I don't remember the last time I was this heartbroken:(

They have increased the race to 11/8 miles. I hope a good size field shows up. However I strongly know in my gut that Zenyatta will win. I admire Rachel to, but Zenyatta danced her way deeply into and across my entire heart. Zenyatta is and will always be my Horse of a Lifetime.

I really hope that a good size field shows up for the Apple Blossom. If Zenyatta and Rachael only run, I think Rachael will win. Don't get me wrong, I love Zenyatta more than Rachael. I'm just thinking of their racing types. With Rachael being a stalker/pacer and Zenyatta being a come from behind, I just see too much ground for Zenny to cover. That's why I hope for a good field to keep Rachael's mind busy so Zenyatta can win.

Scenic Blast, to me, looks so much healthier in this video then in the first one of him you posted. A much richer color and sheen to his coat. I love watching these videos. Life is Sweet sleeping is hysterical. I love seeing the personalities of the horses. You've got a happy bunch, horses and people. Its fun to see. Zenyatta is Queen. What a horse. Mares like her (any breed) don't come around often. I once new a Racking Horse who Zenyatta reminds me of. Just amazing horses to be around & ride.

Funny! This could take celebrity endorsements to a whole new level! Forget the Golden Shaeen. Zenyatta would make a gazillion more touting Guiness as, "The favorite of stout-hearted horses worldwide!" When given a leg up, Mike Smith would have their logo embroidered on his riding pants. No more making do with the door latch. Zenyatta would have her own jewel-encrusted bottle opener fit for a queen (which she is). Do you think they could get a spot together in time for the Super Bowl?

Is it just me or are the Aussie horses getting stranger lookin blazes, Scenic Blast has an extended blaze, and if you've seen Apache Cat you would know they are getting really big blazes, must just be in the lines :D

I love Zenny! It is a fact that after Man O War defeated Sir Barton they let him drink champagne from the winner's trophy, so it seems to be tradition to give horses beer and champagne :)

Thanks again for giving us your time and making these videos available to us. It's a real treat. Scenic Blast will thrive after a much needed spell. He ran in Japan last year too. Think he's clocked enough frequent flyer points to earn a free flight by now. I reckon away from the camera Zenyatta sculls her Guinness from the bottle and most likely drinks everyone else under the table (we all have a little secrets, why shouldn't Zenyatta). LIS is too adorable.

My Irish dad used to tell me that the great Irish chaser Arkle liked a drink of Guinness - and that if it was good enough for the mighty Arkle then it was good enough for him too!

Add champagne to Guinness and you get a Black Velvet - very appropriate for our girl Zenyatta, I think!

Neat, neat video! Look at Zenyatta drinking her stout with such refined slurps like a true lady, with only a few splats landing on J.S.! I read that many British trainers feed their horses stout ale. It is loaded with B vitamins, plus other great health benefits. Scenic Blast's coat looks improved since the last video; it now has a sheen. Enjoy your R & R, big boy. Life is Sweet is so precious. She may be lackadaisical around the barn, but she sure can move in the afternoon! THANK YOU!
