Bahrain isn't even a legitimate country. It was a former island of Iran that was given to the Arabs after the British intervened in the Persian Gulf dispute over the Lesser/Greater Tunbs (which still belong to Iran). But Korea Rep was the elite since 1956 first Asian Cup.. 50, 60's it was Korea Rep, India, Israel, 70's It was Iran, Korea Rep, Kuwait, Saudis 80's were the same and 90's you start to see Japan involve in contending status.. @basque888 Even though I agree that Red Card was full of shit, I can't see how bringing an european ref is going to make the game more cleaner. A ref is ref. A pig is a pig. Just because they're european, doesn't make it better than any race. All referees in soccer are terrible... that's why the FIFA should be more friendlier with the technology and make use of that technology such as better camera angles, goal-line technology, booth reviews, etc. to catch these unfortunate incidents.
