i had the same surgery as you did i totally get this

I have the same discomfort with the ribs touching the hip, The last appointment I had was in October last year and I had an 85 degree curve. I got a phone call from my nurse a few days ago telling me I would have to have two surgeries to straighten my spine. I don't yet know when my operation will be, but I was told it would be within the next two months. Were you told that you could never jump on a trampoline again once you had had the surgery?

i had to get a rolling backpack cuz i cant carry my stuff anymore! what was your degree of curving. and I know exactly what you mean about ur ribs touching your hip. mine does the same!!!i can bend really far to my left side but not to my right. its like a WALL of ribs!!

I am going into surgery on December 13th - I live in Los Angeles CA and am terrified. I have gone thru a lot in my life and this is just another hurdle. I have a 54 degree curve. One leg is longer than the other while on arm is longer than the other and one kneecap in lower than the other - I feel deformed. Question to all with scoliosis?
