Just had TiVo installed and the Youtube app appears as just a black screen with white letters to choose from...I wonder how your Youtube is looking as it should (all red with better, some search options?). Please reply as i would rather no have to speak with some muppet (word used for lol purposes only) from Virgin. My current hardware version is 8.1 (from the settings menu)
@Engbob123 Hi, you have to select apps > view all apps and then load the youtube link from there. i had same problem you had , black screen, rubbish search screen and nothing loaded properly.
now i get red screen background and thumnails of videos on the right hand side and youtube videos play ok.

no it's not HD there doesn't even seem to be an option to view HD Youtube vids on there :(
