I agree with you, but Capcom vs Snk 2 for dreamcast is a Japanese import game so it might be hard to find. For the record, in Japan the anouncer spoke English and the names of the characters were English as well. The text that appeared after you won was Japanese though.

I have the game and its easy to play even with the japanese text, because Arcade Mode, VS Mode, etc. are in English.

The first one blew my mind that two of my favorite companies were making a crossover.

Then Capcom vs. SNK 2 was released on DC in Japan and it was such an improved version on the original in so many ways. It was really a ground breakin' sequel.
