For gods sake people, its 3 games, and maybe you have to pay as much for each campaign as you do for a normal game, but hell, its so much better, since you get a deeper look into the univers of SC2 - and also its spread out over maybe 3 years. Please tell me you make more than what a game costs these days, each year.
As they (Blizzard) have already announced, they will make the first of 3 games for the Terran campaign, but in this game they will release the full version of new battlenet - now i think you will be able to use the other races, though i dont know yet... long time since i last checked into this.

It seems pointless to sell it in multiply discs. which one will be able to go on bnet or will they all be able to? but why would they allow all discs to go on bnet? wouldnt that allow 3 people to use SC2? Blizz makes no sense and is money hungry =.=
well what they did is the first disk will contain only the Terran campaign and the whole new Bnet experience (with all the races, functions and so on) but doing this will make each campaign more detailed thereby giving us a larger look into each of the races stories
Doing this will leave us all frustrated that we have to wait a year or so for the next campaign
Personaly i think its great, you get a bigger campaign for each races

Well, it's not 3 games. It's one game. One product. As for the epic scope, we all know that the gameplay will be exactly the same as the old Starcraft. So imagine the boredom of having to grind for 30 mission with the humans. I was one of the bigest funs of blizzard but as of today I am freezing my wow account and I am actually boycoting blizzard
I was at BlizzCon and trust me three games will be worth it. Each will have about thirty missions with branching pathways,tons of CGI and in game cut-scenes that look gorgious. They said Multiplayer will be the same for all three so unless you really want the story all you have to do is buy the first game.
Really I encourage everyone to look at all they are offering that they could not have done if this was a standalone game before bashing.

I dont play a strategy game like this for the single player, but for online, lan, and multiplayer, so instead of waiting 2 years we gotta buy 3 different GAMES!!!!!
Let me get this straight - you want to tell me that a game which has been in production for 10 or so years doesnt have a storyline for all three races yet?? and we would have to wait another two years so blizz can made something up for protoss and zerg? well this is ridiculus :) they worked on this game for so long and i cant belive that they dont have a complete storyline by now. Another thing, in SC 1 you had the choice which race you wanted to play, here you are forced to start as terran.
Im little dissapointed with blizzard after seeing this. Why make three different stand-alone products? Hope the campigns will be worth it to pay for each of them.

60 is for console games, PC are usually closer to 45. Still I would rather not pay 135 for all three.
