  • OMG if the place where this music comes from was the cradle of mankind how could things go so wrong ....

What a voice, and surely the great diva of Africa....

As tu entendu Sabu de Oumou?? La source..

  • wow! her musics feed a soul.

  • Africa remains the place which continues to give to the world the best of everything, if we would stop long enough to see this. As a musician I continue to be inspired by the words and music of tremendously talented African artists such as Oumou Sangare & Salif Keita, just to name a few. And all this from the continent which gave life to our planet. Music is indeed the food of love.

  • When I am bored with the hustle and bustle of the the city of Chicago while lying on the balcony of my skyscraper facing the Great Lake Michigan, there is nothing soothing like the great music of Oumou Sangare. Moussolou is my favorite and I can not stop playing it over and over even though I do not know what she is saying. It make me remember the old days when I was back in CAMEROON when the song came out. Greatest voice in the world. one day I will come and meet you in Mali to say thanks!!

  • I saw and heard her for the first time in 1989 at a concert in the open air near the lake 'Hoornse Plas', Groningen, Netherlands. It was love at first site! What a beautiful voice she has! I was in trance! Some years later I had the change to enjoy again at a concert in Groningen. One year later I enjoyed again in Leeuwarden. The last time I saw her in 2005, Groningen. I took my new love from Russia with me and she enjoyed very much this concert! Oumou is the African God of Voice!

  • elle est trop forte cette dame! ou elle va chercher ses melodies? trop cool

  • O this must be my all time favourite malian song...i love malian music and oumou is my fav..oh by the way i dont understand a word but music has no barrier...i love to explore all kinds of music...music rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @priority222 This is a homage to African women. She is commending them for all the challenges they face daily to be both good wives, mothers and citizens. 'Moussolou' in Bambara or Malinke means 'women'. In fact, in the West, Oumou is seen as an advocate of women's rights in Africa, and this is a common thread to all her songs.

  • OMG!i really really like her music!the beats,the lyrics(though i dnt understand a word),buh i know it is something meaningful.she is marvelous.

  • @khadyK Do you belong to the Afro-Americans,who kill each other in the States for drug buisiness and other shit and write here on youtube how much you love your African brothers and sisters???

  • @Rozac68 This comment makes me sad. Thanks for generalizing. People put others down to make themselves feel better. Why? Insecurity? nothing else better to do? receives pleasure in hurting other fellow human beings? I don't know how you were raised, but I find that kind of talk disgusting.

  • You have no idea what you have done to me, you possibly again have no idea of how long have been looking for this song, i used to listen to it in the 90s...have searched and searched all to no avail....i was looking for it rootlessly, i don't know the TITLE, i don't know the ARTIST,...i can only hummm it...my sisters always make fun of me...today am a victor...i will tell them persistence pays...thank you so much God bless...i will listen to it for the rest of this week....and forever.
