Suggestion to make YOUR life easier and move along faster to your goals (Corvette and neat chicks, right? :>) Look into "Speecheasy"...get one trialed and tuned for your dysfluency. My 26yo son (IQ 165 computer grad student) arrived at this after fighting so hard so long. BTW...he also was a successful graduate of Hollins Institute. Hey Pew, They're involuntary. Some of them started out as tools that could've maybe helped me, but then they grew into hindrances. It's personally the thing that bothers me most about my stuttering.

@TheStutteringMan you stutter different to my friend, u repeat words, he doesn't, he just struggles to get the beginning of the word out but once it's out he speaks normaly for the whole sentence until he pauses to begin a new sentence, he doesn't stutter AT ALL when he sings or does impressions of other people :s so if he goes for a job interview or something he puts on an act and does someone elses voice and they never realise he has a stutter!
