Hi, Nice tip about the soap. I never heard about that. I have two cherry trees that sort of have two cental leader that are about 10 degrees from straight vertical. Should I keep the most vertical and cut off the other. There is sap at the crotch of the two limbs and I thought that would be more suseptible to canker infections. Yours young trees had one cental leader. Do you eventually prune for open center?
