  • wow these guys are retarted notice its name is EXPLORISTS so in other words its made for exploring outside

  • "boy that old country buff starting to look good" lol

  • you fail... hard

  • I don't know what all the flaming on here is about?? Haha I work in a pawnshop, was doing research on this product for pricing and this video popped up. This is the most entertaining and informative video I have watched this afternoon, ahah thanks.

  • @HarDcoreChronie Thank you!! I never understood the flames either.. let alone the popularity of this video. BTW I still have this GPS and it works well for the price.

  • press mark !

  • Its called a manual..

  • fucktard, these things come with manuals.

blame the machine for being lazy, how american...

  • @Whisper6911 why do you have to say how american. like we have the only idiots.

  • thats a cheepo ---- junk one --- get a good one

  • its the lowest quality featureless gps on earth----you should toss it

  • I guess you could always read the manual...

  • one of the funniest videos on youtube i'veseen in a while.

  • There is still the fundemental problem of not being able to create a new waypoint by entering in coordinates. You must manually drop a "pin" on the map then edit it to place it where you want with a name.

  • I know what you are saying but here is the deal, I actually read a lot of people's reviews that aid in my decisions to buy certain products. I bought this particular gps for about half of what you did used and upon further research it is actually a very good unit for the price. My point isnt that you dont have the right to your opinion but just give it an honest review having had time to learn how to use it

  • @DMPYT did you use it for gps by any chance. they want pictures and features. I find it works well, I enter the coords and it points the way.

  • @bmxertrevor056 yes, let's walk into a few random Best Buy stores and see how many associates we can find that have used a handheld GPS.

  • The problem with your video is that if people are interested in the product and watch your shitty video but dont read the comments then they will be lead to believe it is a bad product. You should edit it or at the end bring your opinion up to date.

  • @DMPYT so perhaps you should create a video reply showing this product in all it's glory? I still don't like this unit but haven't been out geocaching enough lately to justify shopping for a new one.

  • the steel roof of the car impedes satellite reception....

  • @johnnybug2 so you're saying a handheld GPS can't find a signal thru glass like one used for naviagation.. like a TomTOm or Nuvi? Okay.

  • wow who would figure you would have to learn how to use it prior to needing to use it? What a fucking dumbass video, why put down a product you are unfamiliar with? You should delete the video and make a review on using it now.

  • In west Philidephia born and raised,

On the playground was where I spent most of my days,

Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool

And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school

When a couple who guys who were up to no good

Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood.

I got in one little fight and my mom got scared

She said "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle to Bel Air"

  • I whistled for a cab and when it came near the

Licensplate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror

If anything I could say that this cab was rare

But I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air

  • I am wondering if you read the manual before trying to use it to see what it does? What do you think of it a year later?

  • I never did read the manual but once I figured out the non-standard way of adding a waypoint it wasn't bad. A year later after primarily using it for geocaching, I can say it is a good value for the price and was especially please with the battery life.

If it wasn't an emergancy purchase I would have opted for something a bit better, but for someone looking for a basic, low cost GPS this really isn't that bad at all.

  • I have a explorist 300 ... the worst experience ... it does not worth the money ... right now it is not selling any more ... but what about other magellan products ... I do not recommend

  • After one year the unit I bought had multiple issues with buttons not working, zoom in and won't zoom out, ESC button intermittent, etc... No support for this unit. Garmin offers very short warranty on this item for a reason. It is not a good purchase. I never had this unit in extreme temps or moisture. No rough handling. It looks cool, but definitely not worth the money. Suggest you check online reviews for unresolved issues. There are many.

  • Just bought a 200 today it works perfect except for the cold start, but it works find for geocaching, is what i only use it for mainly.

  • Once I learned the "trick" to adding wayponts I was happy with this unit. Still using but I need to get out and geocache more. Dollar for dollar this is a great unit for the price.

  • i had an explorist 400 they are peiceses of JUNK DONT BUY!

  • so...bumpkin A and bumpkin B stroll in to best buy, and while they are STILL in the parking lot, decide they can't figure it out so the machine is a piece of shit? sounds like a PEBMAU Error...(PROBLEM EXISTS BETWEEN MACHINE AND USER)

  • Actually a very accurate assesment! Since this recording I've found this to be a very usable and capable GPSr for the money.

My previous machine was a Garmin Explorer and as you can imagone user interface design has drastically changed since those days.

I still hold that there really should be a way to create a waypoint by entering coordinates rather that making one on-screen then editing it to the correct position.

  • @afmo13 typical dumbasses cant work the technology, hit it with a club and see what happens

  • Why did you get that GPS? That Explorist 200 SUCKS.

  • My explorer broke in the field and that's the only handheld I could find on the spot. At least it came at a disposable price but now that I've been playing with it, it's not all that bad. Batteries last forever and since I just use it for geocaching it gets the job done.

  • LOL funny seeing the video from another angle.
