she cant say the "e" in inventer and sense, are there regions where people speak like that, does she have a speech defect or does she try to fake an english accent? im not making fun or anything, just asking
no like it, those are not wheels but shapes who cares if the ride on a bike is smooth, a wheel will always be round. but i think its cool that you made a bike that you can ride with no wheels, thats cool but to say you reinvented the wheel would be ridiculous. thats like reinventing the "line", not possible. good try though but any body can but shapes on a bike as "wheels" and ride, all you did was make it smooth....
@FiraxelD one side of the wheel is bulged where the other side is flat, so as the wheel turns, the length from top to bottom is constant, how ever the radius is not constant, hence the pivoting joints to keep the wheels apart from the frame.
@FiraxelD if the center and the diameter stay constant, you get a circle. But if the center is constantly changing and the diameter still stays the same, you get other shapes.
He didn't "reinvent the wheel" He built the prototype that was thrown out by our early ancestors because it was dumb. Its only a step up from the square wheel. Next thing you know the chinese are going to start claiming it's "health benefits".
@kydrice The phrase 'reinvent the wheel' is a common adage that was clearly meant in this report as a joke. You don't actually think the reported seriously believe he literally reinvented and improved upon the most common of transportational methods? Also, this was never an 'early prototype' as the circular wheel would first have to have been made before this fixed diameter and static height 'wheel' was made. Nice try to seem smart/funny on YouTube though.
@kydrice Oh, I see what you did there. Covering up the fact that your first comment was stupid and unfunny by trying to comically use the word 'internetz'. Good job. Please continue.
@0andrewsmith0 Yea you caught me good job. Where would you like me to send your gold star sticker? You're like the only person on the entire web to take stupid videos seriously. Go back posting why nyancat, a cat made of a poptart is impossible.
Triangular 'wheels' have been around for a long, long time. We used to make 'Reuleaux polygons' in grade-school science class. I even remember making a mouse-trap-powered roadster with triangular wheels for a science fair. This guy's not the first to make a bicycle with non-circular wheels. But hey, well done on the execution.
