The counselor focuses on non verbal cues as a part of reflections of feelings. When client spoke of freind her physical postion changes. Her body clenches and she leans forward. Counselor engages client with the use of good attending behavior using good eye contact and her own verbal umm to acknowledge that she is listening to the client. Willow acknowledge she has choices in living life but not living life in a context of dying oneday. The counselor paraphases by clarifying the story.
