@Aggiesgigem Yes, I've been a few times. I have family who live in Chicago, so I've visited Chicago a couple of times. I've also visited NYC and Orlando FL :)

@shaelikestaquitos So which English dialect did they used in your international school? Is it American or Canadian?

@JESUSISGREATEST Neither? It's an international school... that means you use what's "standard" English. And "Canadian" English is not a dialect anyway. You'd have to be a lot more specific. The teachers came from all sorts of places around the world.

@JESUSISGREATEST Dialect and accent aren't the same thing at all lol. If you meant an accent, I developed a North American accent because my grade 2 teacher (when I first started learning English) was Canadian. Dialect is... something completely different. It's not an "American" or "Canadian" dialect, it's an accent lol. I think I started sounding more Canadian since I moved here too since I'm around Canadians all the time.

Your English is so good that I took you to be someone who was born and raised here in North America. I find it very cool that you were exposed to so many cultures at such a young age. That is so cool that you pretty much turned fluent by grade 5. But it's really believable though. My friend from Shanghai hs international started studying at an international school at a little above 5th grade, and when I met her, she sounded fluent, with a few RRRRRR and LLLL confused here and there though. lol. She even swore in english. Nice preparation international students get in China. hahaha

i was born in the U.S. moved to korea at 2 and lived there for 7 years ('till the middle of 3rd grade). then came back and now im 18 and i suck ass at korean! D:

@BladePenguin Yeah, I was born in Korea, but then I moved to China for 2 years, and then came back, went to school in Korea until grade 2, and then moved back to China... so my Korean really isn't nearly as good as my English :(

@xXbashinXx I lived there for much more than 3 years. Yes, I learned to speak Mandarin... unfortunately I've forgotten a lot of it ever since I moved to Montreal. Now, when I try to speak Mandarin, French comes out! LOL!
