No, the vaccine does not cause autism and there is no "autism epidemic". I,m not sure this will be taken serious but I hv a nephew who up until it was time for him to start a preschool program and they demanded vaccination paperwork he was a well adjusted child, well mannered, listened to you,had no mood swings, etc....
My mom his gamma got him vaccinated and within 2-3days he had speech problems, moods swings violent it scared my mom. This might be the extreme end of this but it still happened.

I'm not sure that I buy the whole mercury=autism theory. Science doesn't know enough about autism to make that kind of statement, regardless of what the conspiracy theorists think. The reason autism is going up is not due to more cases, but due to the fact that the Psychological community has found multiple new forms of autism, ranging from mild to debilitating. Mercury does kill brain tissue, but it can't make you autistic; you either are or aren't. Hooray for half-truths...
