I'm really impressed and inspired. It took me really long to get my flexiblity, and I'm only sixteen.. imagine how much hard work you must have put in for this... I shall keep working at it too.
@undeadlifter ...verbal instruction is not my forte. only advice can give is for you to practice what you see for 10-20hrs/ week for 10 years to be GOOD...& if you start young (pre-teen) can be a contortionist. If no sharp pain then you are doing it right, feel dull sensation in muscle to s-t-r-e-t-c-h. takes a lot of practice & work...most don't want to put in the time!
yes indeed at age 16 you should have splits nailed down in 6weeks or less with diligent practice, many people who want to learn are starting in their 30's or 40's or 50's (me) which takes much longer to acquire the flexibility. glad you are so confident, how about showing us your skills, we'd love to see!
You sure are giving those hammies a good old stretch today. They seemed to be playing ball towards the later part of the video. Nice bound lotus too plus my favourite reclining leg behind head. Looked excellent.
Serious question ( - I know, it's a bit of a shock) but do you pratcise every day? What is a "normal" day or week like in terms of your practices? Just curious.
@rolandsc ...2-3 times week train for "deep stretching" 1-1.5hrs, otherwise spot stretch few <30 min & split up time wherever i am, ie. kitchen, laundry, outside with pups, sitting in car, errands with mother, etc etc
sneak in mini session of stretches throughout the day whenever have few free moments!
She does it so gracefully.
