I use imovie on a Mac. You simply click on "file" and then select Export, then compress the movie for CD-ROM. It will lessen the quality of the video, but the file size will be around 1/8 of the original size. If you are using a PC, it should be fairly similar. Just click a few buttons, it should not be too hard.

just export your video file to a smaller file. Anything under a 100mb i think will be fine!
