@charlottewhitton he explains that he was going to originally paint the cloak like his corsairs, but then realized the cloak was the one major surface area on this model to have his main army colour; so he repainted it.

The finished figure looks great but can you please please explain why you spent hours painting the inside of the cape with about 30 layers of brown upon brown to then go and paint it purple? It's not a criticism it's a genuine question about what that achieves??????
