Most people who do juggles have a pattern of attack that is based mostly on launching you in the air to get off their cheap juggle combos. Then its just wash rinse repeat. That isnt a real player. People with real skill can crack combos (bread and butter or straight up ten hits) uninterrupted with their opponent grounded and not helplessly floating and bouncing unable to counter you. Learn 2 play.
@thangQanime In the previous tekken games you could do a simplistic 4-5 hit combo and do the same amount of damage you see here. Also it takes more than learning 1 combo to be good. 10 hit combos are easy to do and easy to block and counter so I don't see why you consider that skillful. @FF9MovieMaker I just wish they scale down damage from long combos - the longer you juggle, the less damage you do. That way juggling is discouraged and it gives players more chances to fight back.

Decrease the stagger time and increase the ground recovery time. Tekken controls are responsive, making juggles inherently easy to pull off. NB should decrease the time window for that to happen.

@BLACKOUTMK2 Ewgf - press - f (forward), N (Neutral/nothing), D (down), Df+2 (Down+forward with triangle) so F,N,D,DF2. and for tag juggles default tag button i R1 on Ps3 so just launch, hit, r1 hit etc l1+r1 to do a tag bound if I remember correctly. Also awesome vid man, was a good watch!

1. Those combos are awesome, but most come out of the Mishimas that have the EWGF(D. Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi) . I wish they had more of Jin though! :(
2. Let's be honest here guys and put away your hatred of Lars for a moment. Lars is "considered" a Mishima because he's part of the bloodline. I guess though moveset wise, Lars doesn't have the Mishima fighting style. (That goes for Jin as well when obtained had his own moveset in Tekken 4)

He just doesn't use a branch of the Mishima Ryu fighting style. Kuma who is just a pet, isn't a Mishima. Same with Lee Chaolan since he doesn't carry the Mishima blood as well.

This games is shit. More the same from Namco. Tekken 4 was the most inspiring and original of all the Tekkens. I cant believe this is all about hitting people in the air and ground. There is not actual fighting, just hitting a moving target while in the air or defenseless on the ground. This is the reason I stopped playing Japanese games and fighting games. No wonder Call of Duty is raping the Japanese game industry.

Hey guys Tekken Hybrid or Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ? Im trying to conserve money but ill probably try to get both. BUT if i dont which ? Any suggestions??
@MrTommorw Hybrid is just a Tekken mix. Comes with the new Tekken movie coming out, Tekken Tag 1 HD, and a prologue of Tekken Tag 2 where you can only play as 4 characters, whom are so far listed as Xiaoyu, Alisa, Devil Kazuya, and one other character not mentioned yet. I'd say get both, since Tekken Tag HD is probably online, which will occupy you until Tekken Tag 2 comes out. But Tag 2 would be my first choice if for some weird reason you can only afford one...

YES! Finally they brought back Kazuya's Devil form, about freaking time! I would like to point out that this video is awesome.... but you guys are still missing a Mishima character ...... Don't forget Lars is technically Kazuya's brother, he should be in this vid too.
I really hope that the graphics wont suck on the consoles this time around. They look really nice here on the arcade. I whant REAL HIGH DEFENITION in the game and FASTER loading times. These are my two main complaints about Tekken 6.
You know why the graphics were worse on the console than the arcade ? because they wanted to keep it lag free, if they make the graphics too high on console it will cause lag when theres alot of detail which wouldve went against their goal of constant 60fps with T6.

First of all, I saw in your video that Kazuya actually changes into Devil during combat but he's still classified as Kazuya... But I saw screenshots of a Devil being fought by Xiao and Alisa but he looked very much like Sparda from Devil May Cry.. I thought that was Devil in TT2, so who the hell is that?
Also, if Kazuya can transform into Devil at any time, how come Jin and Devil Jin are seperate on the roster?
@mickygd Hey! The pics you saw of the alternate Devil (Tekken:Blood Vengeance design) is the one featured in the TTT2 prologue(demo to be featured in Tekken Hybrid)
If that design will replace the original devil design in the finished game is unknown as of right now.
Keeping Jin and DJ as separate characters is logical as Jin cannot control his devil gene. Kazuya remains Kazuya when he transforms, at will, Jin cannot do that.

Mishimas have some kind of EWGF that should just be the rule for the mishima fighting style. in the story however lars and lee are technically related to the mishimas but fight way differently.

Well I'll say this. There's family and then there is relation. At this point, Jinpachi, Jin, Kazuya, Lee, Lars, and Heihachi are related. Jin/Jun, Michelle/Julia, Forest/Marshall are family.

TBQH, the Lars being a Mishima is a very huge grey area. Some say he is a Mishima and others say he isn't. Am I correct? But what about Jin? The consensus agree that he is a Mishima even though his last name is Kazama. Why is that? That's the question you have to ask yourself. BTW, Kuma falls into the "pets are family" category. LOL!!!

@OURENJI The reason he ISN'T a Mishima is because he doesn't belong. Move sets have nothing to do with it. Lars is an Alexander NOT a Mishima. He is too soft and kind. Unlike the Mishima, who are tough as nails and don't give a sh*t bout no one else. (with special exceptions i.e. Jun Kazama [Jin obviously misses his Mom.)

@pjlebehn Even though Heihachi tried to recruit Lars in the Scenario Campaign to help him take down Jin and Kazuya. Lars, Kazuya's younger brother still belongs with the Mishima like it or not, personality traits don't mean nothing, he might of inherited most of his traits from his mother and Jin was originally like Lars soft and kind until Namco decided to make him the villian in T6. And, wouldn't Kuma count as a Mishima, since he's Heihachi's pet and trained him?

@Remi8193K Kuma is NOT a Mishima. You cannot be a Mishima if you don't carry the bloodline. When Kazuya faces Lars in scenario mode, Kazuya remarks that he carries Mishima blood. Lars is a Mishima. He just doesn't use a branch of the Mishima Ryu fighting style. Kuma who is just a pet, isn't a Mishima. Same with Lee Chaolan since he doesn't carry the Mishima blood as well.

@Remi8193K Lol. Yes, the Kumas are Mishima. But they're only pets. Lars might have their bloodline, but he is NOT a Mishima. He is an Alexandersson (with Mishima blood). Heihachi did try recruiting him, but he also tried Nina, Anna, Bruce, Dr. Boskanavich, and a whole bunch of other characters, so that means nothing. Jin was ALWAYS dark, in his first game he was seeking vengance on OGRE and in the end he turned into DJ. And I doubt Lars inherited electric-fists and combat skills from his mother.

@pjlebehn Yeah, Jin had a darker personality but Lars and Jin still share some similar traits, they both have the fighting spirit and determanation, and there both are complete opposite to Heihachi and Kazuya in terms of personality. There both heroes in there own way, Lars is a arch-typical hero as he lead the coup d'etat into defeating the Mishima Zaibatsu and Jin a sort of a tragic hero loads of bad stuff has happened to him and is trying to end the Bloodline and the Devil Gene.

@Remi8193K I don't see where you are going with this. Everything you said is true, sorta. Jin started a war, and killed a bunch of people because he wanted to get rid of HIS own problems. Heihachi doesn't have the devil gene as far as I know, and Kaz can control his on a whim (so he doesn't really even need the gene). For all I know Jinpachi has already lost his. Getting rid of the gene would benefit no one but Jin. Your argument went nowhere. Similar traits are nothing. Lars is not a Mishima.

Still don't see how Lars is not a Mishima, because he's Heihachi's son would would still make him a Mishima because of his bloodline. So it only counts if they were raised by Mishima because Jin seeked Heihachi out by his mother who taught him the fighting style. I'm just trying to make sense in all this because you haven't really explained why Lars isn't a Mishima.

(i.e: if a stranger came up to you and said he was you half brother, he doesn't instantly become a member of YOUR family). Yeah, maybe if he was raised by Hei a little bit than I would consider him a Mishima. But Lars has no ties to the Mishima other than blood. And Jin WAS raised by Heihachi even if it was for only a few years.

Its practical game play division used by tekken players, its has nothing to do with story...

Kazuya, Heihachi, and Jinpachi: their last names are: Mishima. As for Lee, he EARNED his spot in the family. Lars just popped outta nowhere with electric fists. I seriously doubt that if he didn't have that glorious bloodline, he'd be able to stand up to the any of the family.

His hair seems naturally brown and he looks european.His built is totally different from his dads but they share the same skin tone.Unlike mishimas hes truly good, but just like them hes got those extreme wind-thunder powers,cant get hurt,is tough and never gives up. He considers himself swedish but he cant deny that hes a part mishima.

This games is shit. More the same from Namco. Tekken 4 was the most inspiring and original of all the Tekkens. I cant believe this is all about hitting people in the air and ground. There is not actual fighting, just hitting a moving target while in the air or defenseless on the ground. This is the reason I stopped playing Japanese games and fighting games. No wonder Call of Duty is raping the Japanese game industry.

For all you people out there complaining about how this vid does not include a single lars combo, its because he doesnt use the Mishima Style Fighting Karate like Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi, Jinpachi and Mokujin. BTW best combo was EWGF, tagswitch, EWGF, tagswitch, EWGF, tagswitch, d1, tagswitch, EWGF, tagswitch, f1, EWGF. Thanks MitsuGTO, that was Epic!.

@MrTommorw Hybrid is just a Tekken mix. Comes with the new Tekken movie coming out, Tekken Tag 1 HD, and a prologue of Tekken Tag 2 where you can only play as 4 characters, whom are so far listed as Xiaoyu, Alisa, Devil Kazuya, and one other character not mentioned yet. I'd say get both, since Tekken Tag HD is probably online, which will occupy you until Tekken Tag 2 comes out. But Tag 2 would be my first choice if for some weird reason you can only afford one...

I really hope that the graphics wont suck on the consoles this time around. They look really nice here on the arcade. I whant REAL HIGH DEFENITION in the game and FASTER loading times. These are my two main complaints about Tekken 6.

You know why the graphics were worse on the console than the arcade ? because they wanted to keep it lag free, if they make the graphics too high on console it will cause lag when theres alot of detail which wouldve went against their goal of constant 60fps with T6.

Dude, I have so many questions and you seem to be the right person to answer them. First of all, I saw in your video that Kazuya actually changes into Devil during combat but he's still classified as Kazuya... But I saw screenshots of a Devil being fought by Xiao and Alisa but he looked very much like Sparda from Devil May Cry.. I thought that was Devil in TT2, so who the hell is that?
Also, if Kazuya can transform into Devil at any time, how come Jin and Devil Jin are seperate on the roster?

@mickygd Hey! The pics you saw of the alternate Devil (Tekken:Blood Vengeance design) is the one featured in the TTT2 prologue(demo to be featured in Tekken Hybrid)
If that design will replace the original devil design in the finished game is unknown as of right now.
Keeping Jin and DJ as separate characters is logical as Jin cannot control his devil gene. Kazuya remains Kazuya when he transforms, at will, Jin cannot do that.
