  • It took me a sec to figure out that you started out on HWY 138 and then through the "Narrows"...good footage, thanks for taking the time to share!

  • Yep you right. My mistake

  • It is Joe Satriani

  • @zygtar It's Eric Johnson "Cliffs of Dover"

  • Is the sound track Steve Vai? Nice vid either way.....

  • @Donpstew It's Eric Johnson "Cliffs of Dover"

  • Thanks for the tips and I totally agree.I have half the years and probably half the miles, well on street at least.I dont think I even draged a knee or had it above 65 for the most part on the whole ride.I ride to live not to die like some of these riders out there. If I want to go all out I'll go do a track day.

  • Ive ridden hard for 14 years and 163,000 miles by following 5 simple rules, the second of which is NEVER RIDE TO YOUR LIMIT ON THE STREET. Guess what? Not that it came as a surprise but of the 5 videos I viewed of someone slopping their way up and down the 18, 4 totaled their bikes and 1 died. Dunno about this guy. Hopefully he was luckier. I lived in Arrowhead for two years and the avg # of motorcycle FATALITIES during that time was 7. .... =(

  • Could be or could not be but, I've been curious as to just who I've raced in my 2001 Bullitt. I think all together I've tailed 3 bikes in the straight of Arrowhead and raced about 5 bikes, balls-out from the base of Hwy18. Good times.

  • you think the bikes were really trying? im not trying to be a dick, serious question. when i ride, people tail me too, and i just think they're dicks... all it takes is a twist of the wrist to be gone.

  • Uhh ya I DO think they were trying, in fact they were pushing it as hard as possible. Have you even been up Hwy 18? It's not one entire straight away. I can easily hold with bikes on corners and depending on their power displacement sometimes on the straights. Did I say specifically that I can overtake a CBR 1000 on the straights or something along those lines?

  • That's the mountain I live in.

  • Giggity !

    Great stuff
