I believe this PSA is really good, and it takes the issue of domestic violence very seriously. And a PSA that does that is a good one in my book. :)

I completely understand the message of this video. What I don't understand is that why is it that the general perpitraitor of abuse is always adult men? How come there aren't ads that depict women as being abusive as well? It just feels kind of sexist to me....

I was commissioned to make this commercial so it targeted women. And specifically women with children.

I do understand your point. The facts are that statistically Domestic Abuse caused by women is far far less than men. This could be partly as men are less likely to report it.

The sad news is that 1 in 3 murders of women are related to Domestic Abuse.

I am not saying it does not happen but men are more likely to do it and men are for a fact stronger than women and if a women hit a man he could easily stop her. But a woman trying to stop a man??? Not as likely so thats why I think they make these ads based on men abusing women and not the opposite
