  • Sharks are good fun and can give you a good workout, and pretty tough on the old back,

    cheers Greg

  • nice fight lol

  • Plenty of them too, sharks take some stopping, They are pretty smart and take alot of our reef fish when fishing, they know the difference between coral trout and mowong or Chinamen fish, they leave them alone, and just take the top quality reef fish,

    cheers Greg

  • Sharks are smarter than they look.

  • You guys should look into belts. They really help when the big guys come. I know you guys don't target sharks but belts can be very useful. Better to have one and not need it then to need it and not have one.

  • Hi, We do have some belts available, Sharks are a bycatch and give a good workout when they do come along. Can be alot of fun and a good laugh as well,

    Cheers Greg

  • For bottom bashing(Reef fishing) we use Shimano TLD 25, they work hard on a charter boat, and top drags for what we do with 50lb Braid, and plenty of abuse with some big fish and sharks.

    Cheers Greg

  • what reel r u using? is it the offshore angler gold cup series?

  • We don't target Sharks on purpose, plenty about on the reef, and all are released with some worn out Customers, good fun and great to see the sharks,

    Cheers Greg

  • simply cowards

  • fishing tuna in indo komodo

  • Not intentionally, but when snorkelling or spearfishing, you see sharks all the time on the reef, mainly bronze whalers or White tip reef sharks, And occasionally tawny sharks. We don't get the great white up here in North Queensland which is a good thing. But you do have to watch the whalers, they can be dangerous at times, Cheers Greg

  • Do you ever swim with the sharks ?

  • We try and pick the weather for our trips, it does get nice and rough at times, although we are lucky in we don't get huge swell as we're protected in behind the Great Barrier Reef. But do get a nasty chop at times, with big tides against wind. That where the power cats come in handy.

    cheers Greg
