The part that I have always been confused about is how Riga ended up near the mine fields? I know that Agrin left him near a isolated area (I saw the whole movie), but how did he end up at the mine's? Did she re-locate him?
those are not homeless because of American invasion but they have been suffering because of what Arab,Perisn, and Turkish rulers are and were doing to Kurds. Fuck Saddam .
poor humans,, fuck SADDAM HUSSEIN! i am a kurd,, a proud one! many of my dads friends and his brother died like the little boy did,, its so sad,, I cryed so much!
The absolute best movie ever!!!! no glitter or glamour, just pure genuine truth! That is what we need to see these days instead of blinding ourselves with phony trivial matters.
this is one of my favorite films of all time. it's beautiful and heartbreaking, the child actors are amazing. somehow amidst the war and suffering there's an inspiration and humanity and even humor. by all means see this movie if you ever get the chance.
I´m a kurd, and wen I saw this movie I cudn´t stop to cry, its wery sad, biji kurd u kurdistan <333 love my kurdistan..duhok<33 I live in sweden and many swedish people HATE kurdistan!! I hate the swedish people, they dont anderstand!
Kurds are Kurds what do you mean by iraqi, irani bullshit. Idiot, this childern are suffering because idiots like you are forcing them to be iranian, iraqi and turkish and they can not accept what they are not.
All his films are perfect but I became very sad after seeing the reality of world on Kurdish childs/people. There isn't any difference between me and the other kurd girls/boys. I am a bit lucky to born in Turkey territory near Iraq. All of us are brothers and we should keep in touch in some way. I cried a lot while watching this film, the face of boy was very similar to my brother. Nobody want to see/dream his/her brother in this conditions.
This scene is a masterpiece.

I dont think you got the point of the movie. It was not a invasion. The Americans made the Kurdish people and the rest of iraq free.

whoever fabricates land mines should be put on trial for crimes against humanity,
then forced to walk through these mined areas.
