Example, all that are from Final Fantasy VII explain the story of cloud, from the FF VIII explain the story of squall, and in FF X explain the story of tidus and yuna. One shot killed Vincent, and one stab through the heart killed Aerith. Cloud gets stabbed multiple times in the film, then shot, then blown up whilst his entire crew watches...and survives.
