I just changed my operating system and I don't have After Effects on my PC anymore, CS3 won't run on this which is disappointing. I'm going to have to get CS4 some time. I miss my After Effects!

how do you make the lighning move with your hands?

Do you know how to add the lightning effect into the composition and the generic settings for it?

Because you do all that and then you go to the starting point in the compsition of the piece of lightning and click and drag it to your hand. You then set the end point to be where ever you like. After that you need to go through the clip frame by frame moving the start point to line up with your hand. It takes a long time. Hope that helps. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

To make that I used a mixture of Adobe After Effects CS3 and Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. It was mainly all done on After Effects though though, Premiere was just used to edit a few bit of the actual video, not for any effects.

Now I'm using CS4

Yeah I agree. I think I could probably make that slightly better now, as I said in the description though, these effects are my first attempts at doing all of them, I only just got AE and I'm teaching myself.

My dad actually has the out-takes from this on his pen drive and he showed them to a few people he's friends with from work and they all found it hilarious!

And yes I did haha. It was all sharp at the top though it hurt when I used my hands! I had to in the end anyway...then I got pushed off and had to start all over again!

It's pretty hard to use, it took me days to just come up with that little video! It's an awesome program though I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who was interested there's so much you can do with it :)
