  • Laura is really hot.

  • How come Larry can be hilarious and entertaining during interviews, whereas Jerry Seinfeld is the most sterile, flaccid and self-righteous person to interview.

  • @handsomebassman Because they're two completely separate ppl.

  • mmm why is he drinking fiji water -_-

  • In part 1, you can see Larry has a poster of groucho marx when he's in make up. Then Ricky tells that quote. It's awesome that their big fans of him. (but how can you not be)

  • 'I thought I'd never say this, but Larry's right!'

  • "Jewish humour comes from opression" don't they run the World? ;)

  • @skinwalkerxxx STFU!

  • @amichair the truth hurts!

  • @skinwalkerxxx if it were truth...

  • Oh ricky hasnt saw everything, cause his little book is an episode in season 1

  • larry probably skull fucks his assistant

  • Ricky might as well just start blowing larry

  • @purplenurps Is it wrong to have heroes and love those heroes?

  • @RockandRolla91 yeah

  • @purplenurps ...

You... seem like a bright kid... :)

  • They should've called this "Ricky Gervais plays a bunch of clips."

  • i think is gay cause i don't understand most of the jokes!!

  • The carpool episode has to be one of the funniest ever!

  • @SonHouse245 Pretty good. Pretty, pretty... pretty good.

  • @slytown *stare*

  • LOL at Wanda "Why don't we ask the Terrorists if they could pick another weekend!"

  • Wow--amazing that the Cheryl/Larry discussion of Larry's leaving town was not in the original outline. It's one of the funniest scenes in the history of that show.

  • Lol why does Laura, larry's assistant, seem like she hates her job. hell ill take it anytime for half her rate

  • @mrxxbrian What is she suppose to do? Come Boundaring in going "Hey Larry I got that Script that you asked for, how's it's going?" and interrupt the filming just to get her face on the T.V. She was probably being professional which is why she was hired!

  • @Cashback13 The frown on her face says it all. At least hand it to him? a "here you go" perhaps? That's seems more suitable and it's called editing if they want to remove her

  • @mrxxbrian maybe she didn't want to be filmed and obviously was forced to come into the shot by an impromtue request, and Larry was in the middle of conversation facing the other way so she would have had to interrupt for no real reason. Plus Larry didn't actually say please or thanks for that.

  • Fairplay to his wife, i would be creasing up when hes says he wants to go golfing. Lmao

  • Laura is fuckin hotttt

  • @SRNF Agreed. Would. Want.

  • Ben STiller and Larry doing The Producers, only Ben backs out and David Schwimmer takes over

  • What episode of Curb is that with Ben Stiller? I havent seen it yet.

  • Lollloll

  • LD is just 24 hour funny. its like gold is always gold. hes an all time great and his shows are immortal

  • I find many of the great comedians have a certain introspective disrespect of their own being and therefore, see that reflected in the lives of others, I would like to invoke the memory of Bill Hicks as an example, a great man who realised the shortcomings of those who would think themselves benevolent, and exploited such beliefs through his comedy..... with respect to jewish comedians, they suffer more from the slings of the 'benevolent' and their humor is all the more greater for this.

  • @BraniusBalki I agree. I came across something where Jim Carrey ( I think it was) said that comedians usually have a certain type of insecurity and seek approval through telling jokes and entertaining people. I don't think this applies to all comedians, but I do see it in some or another type of psychological thing going on. Comedians usually have another program running at all times in their head for better or worse and you can see how they project it in their own style of humor and content.

  • Is that Larry Davids ex wife at 3.25??

  • JESUS!!! Did you see Larry David's assistant?

  • that women played a prostitute on Reno911

  • Jewish comedians are funny. I'm Muslim btw.

  • @PalesAbuShreek

    we'll it's all settled then.

  • I took a bottle of fiji water from a hotel in Boston, thinking it was complimentary....until I got my credit card bill....$6.00 frikken dollars. On top of that I started thinking, "wait a minute, how long hadTHAT particular bottle of water been in that room and how many people had handled it or god forbid, did anything else with it! GROSS! Live and learn.

  • Its nice to see that larry David can afford those Fiji waters in the hotels that are ridiculously expensive.

  • @kiarahnama fiji water is cheap as shit in new zealand lol

  • @BESTMATES10YEARS yeah...here in hotels you have to pay like 4 dollars for a small bottle...it's ridiculous.

  • @BESTMATES10YEARS U gay?

  • @Monkeyboy92037 no sorry

  • I love that line" I do hate myself but it has nothing to do with being jewish' Hilarious!

  • Brilliant stuff. Not sure why they showed Joan Rivers, she's nothing compared to Gervais and Larry David.

  • i told my friend "ehh" when he said jump in the front seat of his car after the passenger jus hopped out.. i ended up getting in the front to end the argument n respect a friend.

We all must be aware of the often negative repercussions of acting like Larry David.

  • @1armedghostsamurai @1armedghostsamurai Nah dont hold back like that. i love being a stickler! maybe its just in my blood. my friend was just trying to tell me how they have to come and tow the car away if they're going to scrap the car... right after he just said it would be better to sell the car for parts. i was like... huh? i said theirs a difference between scraping a car and selling a car for parts. they said the only way it was possible to do that was if you took the car to the a shop. no

  • @coolmountains25 "nah don't hold back like that" lol

  • @1armedghostsamurai hahahahaha nice one. i was like "NO! Bitches!"... he said "we just did it and we 'had' to tow it to a shop b/c that was the only way you could get the engine (and other parts) out by using the 'big' machines they have at the shop"... he actually said "big machines". they immediately start talking sports. after awhile i say "Their's a difference b/t scraping a car and selling the car for its parts!" him: "really it seems obvious to me" me: " not for me because im thoughtful":]

  • haha yeh true being like Larry David is funny , unless your the up tight Ben Stiller contesting the unpersuaded L.D mentality..

  • 3:24 gervais tries to remain professional while the camera man takes out his penis

  • hot assistant with a low neckline larry lol she also looks pissed she's his slave lol

  • Comment removed

  • "I dont have a small penis, she has a big vagina!"

  • That car pool sex excellent.maybe larry david the funniest guy ever.

  • you want to check my penis may be the greatest line ever

  • I do hate myself. But it has nothing to do with being Jewish!

  • @iimbamii hahahahaha ha.

  • @iimbamii That's an old Woody Allen line, I think he used it in Deconstructing Harry.

  • Best line:

'Are you jewish?'... 'You wanna check my penis!'

  • I absolutely love these guys but it really surprises me that Larry doesn't say 'please' or 'thank you' to his PA when he asks her for a script. Larry normally strikes me as a man of great integrity who is also polite and kind. Is it common practice to treat a PA like this in Hollywood?

  • ben stiller is probably the least funny famous comedian that ever lived.

  • Everytime I see these 2 comedic geniuses together, it sends shivers down my spine. Someone get these two in a movie together PRONTO!

  • @RohRohToday

Ricky Gervais is appearing in two episodes of the next series of curb so your wish is granted.

  • wow this whole thing is just gr8 larry david is the king of smart comedy !!!!

  • i love Seinfeld but Curb Your Enthusiasm is better

  • i'm surprised ricky is not drinking a beer during the interview. Probably cuz he is so siked to meet and talk to Larry.

  • Larry David is so funny to watch, he's like an ostrich.

  • "Why don't we call the terrorist and aks them if they could pick another weekend that's more suited for you!?"

  • Jeff's wife is hot.

  • haha wanda is always funny on the show

  • I want to be famous. Not so I can be rich or popular. But so I can meet and be friends with Larry David.

  • @ilikemeandyoutoo just like Snooki

  • goddamn jew

  • "You want to check my penis?" LOL

  • very nice assistant larry????

  • Holy shit, would have never recognized Joan Rivers.

  • i love that it´s not an interview but rather a just a chat between two comedians. they´re both funny in their own way. (and the "wagner" scene is hilarious, i love it when stupid people overract like that)

  • I got a red snapper that talks to ya!

  • Rickys analyses of Larry David is spot on , something I could never put my finger on

  • hello dolly?

  • Thanks for posting, this is a great interview. One comedic genius interviewing another.

  • That chick was a biatch. She just threw the script down & didn't even hand it to Larry=/ she should get fired. 3:22-3:28

  • @Girx2010 Or she didn't want to disturb the interview that was being filmed.

  • LD for President of the World!!

    Abolish "Stop & Chats"

Banish "The compulsion to have people over at your house and serve them food and talk to them!"

    Educate People about "Shy/Asshole Confusion"

    +Much More

  • Tocklesizzaneyneys.

  • In the vid leading into this one ricky said how telling the absolute truth in your films is funny, this was filmed like 2 years before his movie The Invention Of Lying

  • So Larry's worked with both Jerry and his son Ben Stiller. I wonder how he'd compare their comedic styles?

  • i love ricky gervais with all my heart...but he is a massive ass kisser

  • 8:17 - Larry has a TINY foot.

  • god, laura's hot, larry.

  • ""I do hate myself, but it has nothing to do with being Jewish" ""I do hate myself, but it has nothing to do with being Jewish" ""I do hate myself, but it has nothing to do with being Jewish" ""I do hate myself, but it has nothing to do with being Jewish" ""I do hate myself, but it has nothing to do with being Jewish" ""I do hate myself, but it has nothing to do with being Jewish" and other various quotes that we all heard when we watched the video

  • I LOVE CURB

  • "Are you Jewish?"

"What, you wanna check my penis?"

  • "I do hate myself, but it has nothing to do with being Jewish

  • LARRYS GOT A HOT ASSISTANT. 3:25

  • I get that Ben Stiller car scene so much more now. I was driving some friends home for a party, and the last two to get dropped off were in the back, and when the front was vacated, nobody went shotgun. It was insulting. That scene is so much .... not funnier -- truer, now.

  • @jerryhello100 put the child locks on, surprising amount of people are claustrophobic that will sort them out

  • @ste43 lol, yeah

  • @jerryhello100 I couldn't disagree more. I agree completely with Larry in that scene, it's a petty fucking social custom. Who gives a flying fuck where the passengers are sitting. I mean I might seen an argument if shotgun was open when they first got into the car, and nobody took it, but to make someone move out of their fucking seat? Why? I never make people do that. It's petty, absolutely petty.

  • @GrapeDrink4Life Whatever. I felt lonely up there all alone for half-an-hour. I think it's kind of petty to go sifting through comments from nine months ago so you can disagree.

  • Imagine if the podcasts Ricky did had Larry as a 4th member.

The amount at shit that would be thrown at Carl pilkinton would be epic.

  • I maintain the funniest moment of the entire seinfeld series was the leapin' larry episode when the store was burning down and leapin' larry turns to jerry and says,

"i'm gonna lose the whole store".

Brilliant acting,writing..the whole works.Nobody can touch seinfeld.

  • Yes I agree with his take on what makes jewish humor, jewish humor. I think you could say the same thing about black humor, which is what makes it so funny

  • larry is the funniest mind in comedy

  • "im charging waaaayyyy to much"

    lol

    larry david is awesome

  • the funniest three shows are ricky gervaises and curb your enthusiasm

  • @danutcase66

That's a good catch, I've seen DH a few times and I never would've gotten that.

  • It didn't take long before that jew talk about ... jews ! Who cares about someone who talks about himself.

  • @octavehergebelle He is being interviewed of course he has to talk about himself.

  • 1:04-1:08 LOL LOL

  • judaism is a great religion for food! ...They so eat the best those guys!!! I'm even thinking of converting!

  • @billybadbrakes If you are converting because of the food, you are probably fat and stupid

  • you've got me bang to rights man!!!

..but tell me? how the heck do you find the time to sup your Guinness with all that praying???

..oh I forgot, you can't drink Guinness can you?!?! ...ahh never mind, I'll have some for you! ; )

  • LOL!!!! :p

  • 7:02 ...I work with a jewish guy and on snowy winter days he complains "that was some 'schlep' into work today, I nearly didn't make it!" ...bless him!

  • I'm 15, live in the UK, far from middle class and i love Curb, i mean honestly, who doesn't find LD relatable? We all know someone like Susie Green, but i wish i knew someone like Leon

    "Cum is not cum Larry"

  • I like that they basically call out Ben Stiller for his bad acting in that scene. I was not a fan of his spots on CYE.

  • I guess that's what you get when you make ignorant generalizations: predictable answers. What else did you expect?

  • In my experience taking peoples pulses re Curb, those who don't like it....don't like it because they don't get it.Most people who "Get it" like it,and those who don't "get it" can be heard going "WTF?"

  • @winterlandboy i get it, but it aint gr8, sienflds bttr, its all about gr8 actors

  • @winterlandboy Some people think it's too crude or find Larry David's character too unlikable but those people can just go watch Friends.

  • @winterlandboy no shit captain obvious

  • i knoww. just saying man loll

  • 9:20 I just realized that there's a guy in the background that looks like one of those Superman movie's bad guys. I guess that's a treat for Jerry Seinfeld lol.

  • I have heard of it, seen all of it, one of the funniest comedies :D and i'm from the UK

  • Curb is awesome, these two men ARE the funniest and more importantly, CLEVER comedians out there. I can't stand shit like Friends... oh i live with a duck it's so funny... hey no it's not it's shit and not funny!!

  • I agree so much with that. Friends was such a huge hit and it's frankly boring to me. I don't think it's the slighest bit amusing.

  • very good point, it's blisteringly overrated.

  • @nerdsfn you're so right. friends was for people who didn't get seinfeld.

  • @FistThingsFirst

is that how we divide as humans? seinfeld people and friends people?

  • I love in the terrorist attack scene how Larry realizes how evil Sheryl is making him seem, but still wont rule out a round of golf. The "ill think about it" is genius!

  • IM FUCKING ENJOYING this more than anything else possible.

    not wanda sykes.

    but the entire deal.

    i love it.

your kid has quite a penis.

    its amazin.

  • I can't see how I could have missed an episode

but I've never seen the one with Ben Stiller.

    Which season was that one??

  • Ben Stiller is in a few episodes of the 4th season. I think that clip was from episode 3

  • Thanks, I'm going to find it. love your screen-name btw lol

  • I thought there was a season that I might have

missed a few episodes but I could never figure

out which season because the titles all sounded

familiar. I suspected it was season 4 though.

  • You haven't seen any with Ben Stiller? You don't remember Ben Stiller getting his eye poked by Larry's the skewer? Or Larry and Stiller fighting over Larry's refusal to get into the front seat of the car when Stiller dropped off his gf? Or anything about the preparation of Larry's character Max Bialystock for the Producers before Schwimmer took over Stiller's place?

  • haha yep, I watched it all over again and I

realized that I had seen it. I just forgot all

of it. As soon as I watched it though, it all

came back to me right away.

  • Season 4 - legendary!

  • mmmm....

  • Violence???

  • Well u have bad taste in comedy then

  • overreactions i can see, but violence? you're a moron. you probably only saw the ep where rosie-o beat the shit out of larry.

  • The over-reacting is what makes the show so hilarious.

You're in a situation where you know the other guy is

wrong but you keep your mouth shut in the interest in

keeping the peace. In the show Larry crosses the taboo

line and challenges them and takes the situation as far

as it will go. In real life, Larry would keep his mouth

shut of course. Speaking his mind in the show always

lands him in hot water but Larry is always right, that's

    what's so hilarious.

  • Any violence is inevitable, honest and truthful. We

laugh because we see the truth in it.

  • thank you for repeating what they already discussed in a different way, i must thank you. because I, like all the people you plan to see your comment. was too dumb to figure it out, until you came along in a blaze of glory, and showed us real dumb people what they had just discussed. much appreciated.

  • Well it's funny you mentioned it and I know I

deserved it. When I thought about it later

I realized it was kind of moot as well and

I was going to come back and remove it.

Then I thought to hell with it, maybe no one

will read it anyway. I was only trying to

explain it to the one who left the comment

that said they didn't get the show. Sorry for

    going overboard. I'm duly shamed.

  • lol nah forget i went over board i was havin a bad day, but i appreciate your reply, your not like all the other priks that reply like >=[ your a so and so..

nah you took the comment well. i apologise

  • haha

  • LOL at all the TV remotes on the table like in the episode of Curb where he cant get the tv to work!

  • i luv d way she runs up wana a date n he tells her to get in hahaha

  • Try a little.

  • "I do hate myself, but it has nothing to do with being Jewish."

    One of LD's best lines.

  • Classic.

  • Woody used it in "Deconstructing Harry."
