Nah nothing like this. I even emiald the Bathesta asking them to make it online. They said ahhhhh, NO so I asked it they will make an online game close to Oblivion and they said ahhhhhhh, maybe.! That was a year and a half ago..

U r inside the Oblivion gate? If so then u need to go to the last tower(3rd one) and reach the top where the Sigil Stone is placed and just take it.U don't have to go through any caves.If u r inside a cave,i suggest u get out and head back to the Oblivion gate u entered and try to spot the 3rd tower.Hope o helped.If not let me know.
