Huge flaw in this documentary: barely any time given to Led Zeppelin, without whom most of these other bands would never have happened. The guy from Budgie (great band BTW) gives Zep their due, and in other interviews Ozzie praises them to the hilt. So what, did they refuse to be interviewed and get short shrift out of pique? Or is the legendary Edgar Broughton Band truly worth 5X the coverage on their own merits. By their own admission, it would seem not.

Spare me that horseshit. Sabbath are one of my favorite bands, but they got INCREDIBLY boring towards the late 70's. They even admit how they were simply recycling riffs on those last few records before Ozzy got kicked out. Deep Purple also came up short on good albums after a while. Zeppelin records were consistently good. Anyone who considers John Bonham's drumming "boring" probably has a horrendous case of ADD.

@Diosibundo agreed, zeppelin are pretty boring compared to bands like Black Sabbath, but u cant deny the influence they had on everybody coming after them

You know... I was just mentioning to my friend about how I found them boring, and my friend said "How about Whole Lotta Love?" Ok... that one's good. "How about "All of my love?" Ok ok, that's good too. "How about this, how about that?"

I realized I DO like a lot of their music, cant quite figure out why they dont have the same effect Sabbath, Metallica, or even the Rolling Stones have.

@Diosibundo ya they do have a few good songs but i cant stand the purely acoustic 1s i jst cnt rly get into them..my favorite song for them though is the epic Achilles Last Stand thats a fking beast of a song!
