  • Hey congrats on new E.T., sweet car, check out my z28

  • No problem. its a blast going down the drag strip isn't it? I have a 98 GT/Cobra Clone and run it at our local track. too bad its just an 1\8th and not 1\4

  • Yeah, it courtesy staging.

Some of the pro mod guys get pissed when you take too long as well. Fearing to foul there plugs at the line waiting for ya. Nice car man

  • Yeah, I can understand. I haven't double bubbled since it was pointed out.

    Thanks :)

  • Good thing those are test and tune runs. You double-bulbed the guy in the second run. People get a little irritated with that.

I was thinking about the 2step but the 2 classes I run in don't allow them.

  • I'm assuming you mean I staged before he prestaged. Until now, I've never heard not to do that. Thanks for the heads up.

  • Yeah, some tracks are more forgiving of it than others. I've seen fights break out over that at the track I race at.

  • Nice video! And congrats on the time.

What kind of camera & mount are you using?

  • Thanks! It's a Sony HDR-HC5. For mounting, I used a light tripod and bungee cords. I put two legs on the floor behind the front seats and one leg on the center hump. I bungeed to the seat rails and the latch system. Holds very well with just enough give.

  • u got any pics of this beastly GT?

  • Just about. The bogging, I've since found out, is the tune. Once I get that worked out, it should dip down to 12.9. Then I will have gotten everything I can out of them. :)

  • Man, you're wringing everything you can out of those 3.31's lol.

  • Nice run! I think if you ported the heads, went with a cam & got some slicks you should be right there with that dragster that slightly beat you down the track lol ;) Anyway, what mods do you have? I saw that you hit 106 in one of those runs, very nice! I would love to know your setup. Thanks

  • C&L Racer CAI, Bamachips XCal3 93 Octane Race tune, Steeda charge motion delete plates, MSD 2 Step, PMP Line Locks, BMR front swaybar delete/lightweight radiator support, CHE k member brace w/torque limiters, Hurst Comp/Plus, J&M LCAs, BMR Adj.
