  • Nice to see the Stones can write their own music instead of just stealing others *cough* it's funny how you guys are talking about covers because the Stones were the KINGS of "covers"

  • wild horses.......it so paintful....

  • That is such an amazing recording...Thank you for uploading this and making my Day :D

  • It is the resumption of the group the sundays. It is beautiful song .

  • It is the resumption of the group the sundays.

  • Most beautifull song of the Rolling Stones. Reminds me of my love.

  • I have watched about a million music videos for songs called "wild horses", and all the videos and songs pale in comparason to this one. I am absolutely moved.

  • @4:02

  • 11 people would rather be listening to crap music like Justin Beiber rather than real artists.

  • @lizzieb2109 why bother typing weak garbage like that? you are just promoting him, maybe that was your goal.

  • marti sang this on hellcats! awesome song

  • Mick Jagger... I am silenced.

  • Such a great song, If only one of these could come around these days :( its a shame, just buetiful

  • Delicate and wild....

  • Why can't people just appreciate instead of comparing to all who have tried covering any originals....also i get sick of covers and the endless remixes boring!!

  • Bob Dylan did NOT write this song. It is a Jagger Richards composition.

  • 11 people got dragged away

  • great song, it's so me!

  • IMO all Bob Dylan covers are better than the originals. Dylan was an amazing songwriter but his voice is far too nasally for me to appreciate his singing.

  • This song leaves me speechless! I watched you suffer~learned to play this on guitar and never thought I would play it for the love of my life~final days. We will ride again someday, Dirk! ride them someday.

  • This song leaves me speechless!

  • Oh Mick, Oh Keith, oh my GOD.....brilliant.

  • I cry every time I hear this song.

  • THIS is my favorite Stones song of all time..and that's not an easy choice..

thank you GOD for these boys: they define my soul

  • these lyrics are amazing, i never heard the original this is the first time youll ever here me say this, but Susans cover is better, lol look @ the lead singer he is soo passionate

  • "Te amo sin saber cómo, ni cuándo, ni de dónde,te amo directamente sin problemas ni orgullo: así te amo porque no sé amar de otra manera"

  • this song makes my hair stand on end lads u should now that

  • Love this song..... my fave Stones song

  • I'm only 17 and I love this song and love this type of music. I seriously believe that in recent years, mainstream music is seriously lacking something that music from this era has. It's sad because great music is passing us by and people from my generation often don't have a clue about this sort of music

  • @2010amyc I'm 16 and feel the same way.

  • this song is visceral.1 of my favs.its almost impossible 2 have a fav stones song.i like moonlight mile.its so dreamy n ethereal.youngsters r clueless if they refuse to listen 2 stones or floyd etc my daughter n grandson love this stuff otherwise id hafta disown them.lol.love ya live folks!

  • susan boyles cover of this is much better i think. this is good but subos is outstanding

  • nothing like the original version, is the best!!!!!!!!

  • this song makes me bawl everytime.. I am dancing to this song at my wedding with my dad.. I just know I will be a bubbling mess...

  • Nice stuff.

  • My little brother wants this played at his funeral...

    Go figure...

  • @tosheepa OMG LOLZ..So how ols is your lil bro? if he like a teenager then all i can say is ""good bloody taste"" :)

  • @tosheepa AW

  • @tosheepa this was the last song at my dads funeral, bring back so many memories of him for me

  • @tosheepa Why the fuck does that matter? What is the significance? Why the fuck would you post it here? Kill yourself and any children you may have (they will inevitably end up an idiot like yourself).

  • @TheKingdomofErnor Seriously? Just grow up, he made a comment, he doesn't need to be berated by some one over the internet for it. He wasn't talking to you, so don't pay attention to his comment if it offended you. Are you actually "trolling"? Because I honestly remember when trolling was more of an art form, where it was hilarious to everyone except the victim. You sir aren't a troll, you are just an asshole and to suggest someone kill themselves and their children is deplorable. Moron.

  • @JakeJohnRogers No shit I wasn't trolling, fucking retard. I was calling him out for his stupid ass comment.

  • @TheKingdomofErnor What stupid ass comment? He said his brother wants this played at his funeral, what the fuck is wrong with that?

  • Am I the only one who thinks that the Stones are getting jipped, cause all anyone can seem to talk about is the cover versions and how they're better. Susan's version was good and she has a great voice and everything, but I think this is one of those songs that can be covered a million times by a million different artists but the ORIGINAL is the best.

  • @IndubitableTrapezoid

You're absolutely correct. There's an origional song and there are the people trying to milk the success and there's a small group that think they can do it better. Not many succeed. Stones forever!

  • @IndubitableTrapezoid You r so right, an this song has that extra special somtin that you can only feel from the original an great STONES!!

  • @IndubitableTrapezoid Originals always are!!

  • @IndubitableTrapezoid yep... and after all the original is the only original verison.... all the others are just cheap covers sung in a slightly different way. NO artist these days have the balls to make any song their own

  • @IndubitableTrapezoid the original is by bob dylan :P. Love both dylan and the stone's versions though!!

  • @IndubitableTrapezoid considering how much black music theyve ripped off over the years its a fair trade IMHO

  • @Sdblahm67 Haha. Good point XD

  • @IndubitableTrapezoid lol and all this time I never even knew of the covers till now. (':

  • sounds like I should have written this

  • this song depicts exactly how i feel about my daughter, Emma, i use to sing this to her.I miss u Emma, call me or write!!!!

    love, mommyt

  • my heartache is complete now that ive heard this song...it'll forever remind me of my first love, that i foolishly threw away....and now my heart is forever broken

  • @shroomser1 i used to think like that but then i grew a set of balls

  • as if they dont have enough money you cant even get the origial on you tube any more.

Money corrupts, total money corrupts totally.

    Bad, bad, bad, im disgusted.

  • I saw them playing it in Rio 2006

Mick JAgger still has a great voice!!!

  • yep nothing like the real deal!

Fakes drift away in cloud of borrowed money and hindsight

But you will never ne there

for that you need to be rolling stone

not an undiscovered peice of moss

  • brilliant version .,.,.

  • how can you even mention su thing in the same sentence as this classic

  • Love this song. Heard it for the first time in 1996 by The Sundays. Love their version better than Susan Boyle.

  • I love listening to the tape prior to their recording of the song. It has Gram Parsons and Keith strumming to this tune and makes you wonder what influence he had on this song. He sure turned Keith on to country music. Anybody know the truth?

  • I love this song! it makes me kinda sad, but i am in love with the rolling stones! and almost all the music from that time......<3 rolling stones <3

  • No sweeping exits or offstage lines, could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind.

  • i heard the susan boyle version and thought i liked it more than the original, but i just listened to this one and now i dont think that at all, at least though she did something different with it, well i say her, i mean the people who control her every move. this version the best if you didnt understand my meander

  • Thank God !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the only people on the planet who make susan boyle look fresh faced, i think of their songs this one improves with their age, take away all the hype and the songs stand alone

  • love this song reminds me of my love that i lost to cancer on 10-7-09 love you bo

  • @captingilgimesh that's deep bro.

  • music is powerful, yet delicate

  • like this but i like the slow version susan boyle sings

  • have to say that the versions by susan boyle and the sundays are also very good, but i think no one can beat the raw emotion that mick brings to this song.

  • All the various renditions are good, but it's not about "beating" anybody or anything. It's just DIFFERENT, and that's what music is supposed to be. No two people should do the same song the same way. THAT would be boring.

  • when did this song come out???

  • this version 95, original 71 .)

  • cool thanks

  • Comment removed

  • I have always liked the Stones song Wild Horses. Mick sings it with wonderful emotion but so does Susan. You are very welcome to like Micks version better. I understand that. Still you should be able to understand people who prefer Susan's version.

  • Really, why do people get so hung up on who is the "coolest" etc.? Everybody likes different styles, just like they like a different flavor of ice cream. Some people!!!

Like they say, if one can't say something nice, maybe one shouldn't say anything at all if it doesn't contribute anything useful to a discussion!! what narrow minded people still exist in this world . . . .

  • I find there are way too many negative remarks here, I know everyone has their opinions but not too many people respect that. I have to say I like Su Bo's version better.

  • I have to say this: it's not about which is better, but we all have preferences. It's funny how people bother to argue over that, it's like a different flavor of ice cream, but it's still ice cream. Similarly, it's still MUSIC, and if everyone did a song the same way, what would be the point? One must try to make it their own, and that's the way I like it!!

Always loved the Stones' version, but SuBo's made me weep uncontrollably because it is so very soothing to the soul.

  • i think subo's version is so much better xxxx thats just my opinion susan voice iss much better x

  • It's not about better, it's about DIFFERENT. No two people need to do a song the same way. It's just another flavor, that's all. But I respect your preference. I love them all!!

  • love this version & su-bo's x

  • Whay can't yall quit arguing about shit and just chill and listen.

Anyway this song makes me real sad because this was my big brothers favorite song and was vstly influenced by this band. I really miss him so damn much. I love you Jeffrey you'll always be in my heart for ever. R.I.P 10/7/09. We'll be together again like the good ole days bro.

  • aaaah

  • Thank you!! If we have to argue about music, how are humans ever going to get along about anything? Good grief people need to grow up and RIP to your precious brother, my brother's name is Jeffrey too and it means "God's Peace" !!!

that's where your Jeffrey is now, in God's Peace.

  • whoever say rolling stones r shit should be just ignored as they r clearly a wind up.. dickwad..urgh..

  • both versions of the songs are good in the time they are sung and played. The RS are great, but Susan Boyle has an unspoiled pure voice who does justice to the song.... there is no gimmick there

  • wat we saw on tv with susan boyle was not live my friends were there

  • The Stones version is very passionate and sensual. Boyle's version is more pop or jazzy sounding - her voice is quite beautiful. Preference - depends on what one's mood is.

  • u know nothing about music

  • Your a dumb shit don't listen to them if you can't say anything positive about them you fuck tard.

  • Fuck you - Susan Boyle dosnt touch this.Somehow i think they're a bit better than shit you muppet.

  • u r so dome this them making music susan boyle just sings other peoples songs

she is no poet or anything

  • dumb is spelt, dumb. At least thats what I think you meant when you wrote 'dome'.

At least susan shows that this music lives on. it gets this more attention. think of how many peple are watching this because of her. a good distraction from that lady gaga filth if you ask me :) love and peace my friend

  • where r u from from you idiot

  • @MrSweatyPants lol dome XP

  • your right susan boyle has none of her own songs, she just sings other peoples, to be a truely good musician or artist you need to sing your own songs

  • Dam give her time, we just discovered her

  • I have some originals she'd do wonderfully with, I wonder that her people didn't seek out some originals, there R plenty out there 2sing! Many good songwriters who aren't necessarily suited 2B performers, that's where so many musicians get material. Her people need to get on that next CD-Nevertheless, covers are a wonderful thing too, &she does them well. She's not "truly good" in that sense of singing originals, she's just an angelic singer &a sweet soul, she's not out to "be somebody".

  • If she done originals she would have more respect from people, by covering a song from one of the greatest bands of all time she did nothing for herself because most people will always compare it to the original, and you would have to do something pretty special to better the rolling stones.

  • As a musician myself, and having work in talent management too, I can tell you with certainty that it's not considered a negative thing to cover good music, provided that one puts their own signature upon any piece. When one simply copies the original, it's considered cheap and relatively meaningless. People who are less aware of this will most certainly get wrapped up in comparisons in the negative sense, which is IMO a futile endeavor. to appreciate the individuality is the point.

  • Nevertheless, it's also wise 4a musician 2either compose original material or 2seek out original compositions in order 2have their own musical identity. Her management seems 2have failed in this, &I would hope that they pursue this in her future releases. There is no lack of respect for Susan, even among some very accomplished musicians who understand her talent. To try to impress people is not the point of music-singing from the soul etc. is the point. It's not about celebrity, it's about art.

  • Some people are blessed with a gift for singing but not for writing. It does not take away from Susan's ability to sing.

  • thank you! Some people don't get this, and many highly respected singers use material that while not their original work is the original work of somebody that has not been heard before. Some folks think it's all about ego, celebrity and such. Susan is obviously too pure for all that. She sings because it flows from her heart. As a singer (&not a very good one anymore LOL!) I understand this to the depths of my being. It feels darn good to sing, even badly, &even better to sing well!

  • Hey look guy's,FUCK "Susan Boyle." I mean, who GIVES a shit? Know what I mean? Is that what passes for pop-music nowdays? Some old crone wandering out from the milking-shed into a PepsiMax Talent Quest and "dazzling" the gaping,slack-jawed masses into submission with her sheer mediocrity? I mean, come ON! Where's all the intrigue, and the mystery, and dare I say it? Yes. The glamour. I mean, that old woaman is as boring as batshit, and she aint a hellofa lot easier to look at. Just a thought
  • Excuse me?Did it ever occur to you that just perhaps people are sick of all the plastic people that all look the same?Maybe they are ready for a REAL person, down to earth, who actually sings exceptionally well?Glamour has nothing to do with it. If you can sing better than Susan let's hear it,otherwise you have no room to talk. If it's too boring for you,go out headbanging for the evening (I've done all of that too, I love ALL music, there is no "hip" about it-just heart&soul). U R RUDE/immature

  • Yeah, sure. Susan Boyle is a "real person." Riiiight. So when was the last time you had tea with her? Tell me,since you appear to have done it ALL ("I'm a talent scout for the industry,an agent to the stars, and a musician extraordinaire") are other pop-idols NOT "real people"? This is very curious. Who are they then? Reptillians from the lower fourth dimension? Please. For such an expert, you sure do go in for alot of bullshit. Ride the hype train,Sucker. Rude? Immature? Thankyou.
  • You sound like a real piece of work. Well bully for you, I've been a scout and managed musicians too, and I'm quite certain they'd have had nothing to do with me if I'd had the ego and attitude you have.

You must draw lots of flies.

  • Well hey now,Sister. Your note started of very complimentary,I am glad to be this "Real Piece of Work" which you appear to hold in such high esteem. Thankyou. But as for YOUR ego,and attitude? We've all got those. Where do you think the music comes from? Aaand the flies. Come on,don't THEY have a right to life too? Without maggots, there can be no soil. Without soil there can be no weed. Bring on the maggots I say. PunishedByJesus is a friend to all the creatures of the earth.
  • Wow, as much time as you spend bothering me on YouTube one would think you'd better get busy doing your scouting duties.

  • Am I really bothering you all that much? You seem to be enjoying yourself. How dare you question my proffesionalism! I think you may have got our wires crossed. I have never made any claims of granduer. I'm in the bread line,Honey. Where the flies, and the wild things are. Just like you said,Sweetcakes. Some of us have gotta take the lot we are given. Mine? Is humility. Can you believe it? Niether can I. Look me up on the Boulevard,Sugarbuns. You shall know me by my dashing smile.
  • Punished, Okay maybe you've made a fool of me to some degree. But somewhere in there you've got some sense of humor and perhaps a bit of warmth too.

    Peace.

  • Sorry.

I really wasn't trying to make a fool of you.

    Well okay,maybe a little,but I regret it now.

In any case, what the hell do I know?

    Not much.

    Take it from me.

I was really just mucking around, and you are right,it was only meant to be lighthearted.

I guess the flock-hysteria which surrounds those TV talent shows really bugs me.

I just see it as a cheapening of the art, into some kind of Darwinian "competition of the fittest".

I just wish they'd leave "Survivor" on the desert island.

  • All i can say to both of you is LMAO..You especially..Love your hummor, its kinda like mine lol an its nice 2c to people on here have there disagrements, maby go a lil over bored then admitt it an be cool with each other.Instead of "'i will come kill you"" an stuff ..

Again just so you know im not being sarcy, i really had a smile reading these comments lol

PEACE..As for me i love the stones END OFF!

im not getting involved with the SB row lol

  • So mote it be .... smile

  • that's okay Punished, I almost "blocked" you but decided to offer an olive branch first, and darn if you aren't actually a good bloke, although even more sarcastic than I can be when I allow myself LOL! I don't like these "reality" shows either, but I just had a fondness for that fat family for some reason, I know many people who are like that living in the south and belonging to a black church and just experiencing so many people's differences thru my life! The exploitation of them sucks tho!

  • Your brain r shit...

Seriusly, people wake up. This is the Rolling Stones! This aint no evreyday rock band...

  • a little mistake in the lyrics...

let's do some living after love dies...

    sorry...

    unique and beautiful version

  • WOW there's always one lol

Thankyou anyway..Hey you should go check some of my nirvana vids..Some people take the ONE wrong lyric think so personall they want to kill then repost the whole lot lol

    PEACE

  • Well hey now. Is "Wiccaress" a referrence to Wicca? Sharp aint I? You know, some say the Stones were into some bad mojo, remember the Raceway incedent? And the body which was meant to have been found under Keith Richard's house? I'm not sure I believe it either. But then again, they were mixed up in all that nonsense with Kenneth Anger, and the Clown Prince Anton La Vey. I'm pretty sure they did a movie with him called: "An invocation for my demon brother." What arseholes. all the best.
  • @PunishedByJesus Yep it is an you will b supprised how many dont get it lol an with a second bit that spell's "caress"" alot of peps think me a guy? haha..As 4 stones an mojo it would not come as a shoke 2b honest, as 4 me i dont touch dark magic nor live by its rules..Im more of a white witch shall we say but i dont live by that ither, but do belive an try to live by alot of the princibles..So ru christain my friend?

  • @linampou yes it seems Mick says after "love" dies in this vid, but every other version I've seen including sticky fingers original he says "after WE die"

  • everyone must admit it would be an ace duet of Susan Boyle and Ronnie Wood. It would be amazing!

  • This version is great and am so pleased its easy to find on YOUTUBE - Susan Boyle's version is every where but is not a parch on this

  • Mick has an amazing sound to his voice. His phrasing is so unique. Someone just has to stop Keith from getting anywhere near the microphone

  • Ms Boyle's version fucking sucks

    plan b's version is cool

and of course this one is the best.

  • absolute one and only version to listen to, the original, i agree with dougsegal but also like the version done by honey wagon,. its a great version if you like a bit of blue grass

  • Love this version!

  • great tune. sadly only heard of it since Ms Boyle's version but there you go. Happy with either.Just goes to show. Wonder who suggested it to the lady cos she doesnt seem like she was a Stones fan. Then again neither am I.

  • I don't think Susan changed any lyrics, she probably sang the only lyrics she could find. I love both versions, but do prefer Susan's - especially the chorus! I'm merely wondering why the original/correct lyrics aren't on any site I can find. My comment was basically wondering why no one seems to have them - anywhere. Mick Jagger himself has changed some of the lyrics in different videos of this same song! I'm cool with that. So...I was just making an observation and wondering. No problem.

  • This is a great song. The work of a skiled artist. But i much prefer Susan's rendition of it. So what if she changed a few words, give me a break!

  • This is one of the greatest songs ever written, such good lyrics this is one of my favorite versions. Thanks for uploading it. Reminds me of my grandad, this is on his favorite album, Sticky Fingers.

  • this is a beautiful song.. i love it. :) <3

  • It was 1983.

I was 18 & on my 2nd date with my first proper girlfriend. I'd never heard the Stones version.

We both sang & played guitar so our 2nd date was at an open mic music night at a pub. Everyone could get up with their guitar & sing a song.

She sung this to me. I've loved it ever since.

And now all that lovely sentiment has been pissed all over by a talent show contestant warbling all over it (& changing the melody on the chorus!) with no real concept of the song.

    Thank's Simon Cowell :(

  • Shut up! I hate opera music but this version is awesome. AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL in my opinion. You need to have an eclectic taste!!!

  • thank you for the upload...what year was this song written/recorded??...if you hear the song "wild horses" by gino vanelli, beside the fact that this is acoustic and gino's is more like dance music, some chords changes are not the same but similar...the 2 songs complement each other...it'd be interesting to see which one came first...from memory, i think gino's was first in the late 70's but i could be wrrrrrr....doh ;)

  • I've been scouring websites for the lyrics to this song and they all have it wrong. If you watch and listen to this video, you'll see that its 1) "Graceless lady, you know how I am" (not who I am) and 2) "Let's do some living, after love dies" (not after we die). Duh. Can't figure out why so many sites are just plain wrong on this, its like they all copied from each other and didn't bother doing the research...

  • im not sure what to say poissonn... frankly susan boyle can go back to her village and play with her pussies. There is no denying it but no one should ever try to re interpretate this song, not Natasha beddingfield, not alicia keys no one. this is the perfect song and thats final

  • STONES

  • I wouldn't have heard of this song if I didn't listen to Susan Boyle's first. This version isn't bad either... But I like Susan Boyle's version maybe because I'm a woman? kekee... But heard "horses" is another word for herion? true?

  • One of their very best songs, superb lyrics.

  • ROLLING STONES RULES!!!!!!!!!

  • I love Mic Jagger so much!

  • susan WHO??? This is the way the song was meant to be sung!! YES!!! Susan is good but NOT this good!!!

  • Comment removed

  • FAntastic, Stones at their best. There is no point comparing S Boyle with the Stones as they are completely different. Just great having the two different versions. Some like the one, others like the other version and some like both, big deal.

  • I only listened to compare it with the Susan Boyle version. Hers is FAR superior. But of course she wasn't smoking a cig while singing, so perhaps people will feel that she doesn't fulfill their society-defined "cool factor". So be it. SUSAN RULES!!!

  • fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkinngg love this<333

  • amazing song...they did this song years ago, is this a later recording? they look old ..lol but they still rock

  • beautiful

  • It's the only Rolling Stones track I have on my iPod, to be honest, but I love the hell out of it.

  • gram parsonS!

  • ONE OF THE BEST !

    ~W

  • one of my all time favorites I always loved this song
