Paul hit the nail on the head. They truly were just a good little rockn roll band, nothing more nothing less. When fame and fortune made them loose sight of it, they collapsed.
why the hell was john lennon with loko thats what i call her. john lennon could have any hot chick he wanted back then its not about her looks i know that but she was ugly on the inside towards people that helped john before her ass came around
Yoko at 7:04 looks like she can't believe she has to sit thru anything Paul was performing. Lennon may have been a genius but the fact that he fell for a no talent hack and couldn't see what she really was is unsettling. Love truly is blind.
@Ohgeeitvienna Yeah...constant source for the "PID"ers to claim Paul died in 1966...lol..Sometime in the early sixties he said in an interview or so that his eyes are hazel. Usually hazel is a combination of green and brown,so...I have come to the conclusion that he had darker brown eyes when he was younger, and greener since he got older, multi colored eyes can change due becoming old or sickness
@ielizondo44 it wasnt unussual for the beatles to walk around. when john died paul said he hadnt known why it haddent happend earlier because john was constantly out
Instead of blaming Yoko for everything, I wonder if they would have broken up in the cameras weren't allowed in for "Let It Be"...or better yet, they wouldn't have broken up right after it was done.
Billy Preston also deserves credit for being a 5th Beatle- he played on their albums many times-never live or tv or anything, never famous, just a hard worker and peacemaker in the band behind the scenes. He was so apreciated the Beatles actually credited him on the album- hes 1 of the only non Beatles to ever be credited on a Beatles album
Paul is the only one of them that can still look cute with a beard ^_^ (Yes, I'm talking to you, Mr. Lennon, with that crazy mountain beard from Abbey Road xD)
I think that's the difference between a John fan and a Paul fan, whenever Paul looks into the camera either you're reaction is 'Wow' or 'Cmon man, give it a rest...' Mine is the latter, I mean I know Paul liked to play the heartthrob, but cmon man, give it a rest...
@irishman05050505 I think it's more of a performer thing than a 'heartthrob' thing. I think it was a heartthrob thing in the beginning, I'm sure. But who wants to watch someone perform a song while they're looking down the whole time? And yes, I know that they're recording, and not necessarily performing (despite the cameras--which Paul was very much aware of), but I think Paul had it ingrained in him to be the ultimate showman and performer. And for the record, I'm both a Paul and John fan.
i wanna cry every time i see this video of a long and winding road. every time Paul looks into the camera, i fall in love with him a little bit more. lol, he's still such a good looking man.
I think Let it Be would have been better if it was another double album like The White Album... with more input from everybody, but more opportunities for solo material to appear. I would have loved to have heard "All Things Must Pass" on that album (it was going to be, but was discarded for For You Blue)
'He was an amiable fellow...yes, he was a kind of emolliant that helped to lubricate the friction that had been there'. Who talks like that!!!! Geogre martin is the poshiest man on the planet!! Good work though George!!
Love George at 3:19. "It's interesting to see how people behave nicely when you bring a guest in because they don't really want everybody to know that they are so bitchy". lol.
"100% improvement in the vibe of the room"
Ringo at 4:22 "when we were working on something good, the bullshit went out the window"
And Paul <3 "To me the Beatles were always a great, little band...seemed to work, seemed to jell"
@KGS0604 "The Long And Winding Road" is the song title at 6:04 (by Paul McCartney credited to Lennon-McCartney)on The Beatles' album Let It Be. It became the Beatles' last number-one song in the United States on 23 May 1970, and was the last single released by the Beatles.

The evil Beatles. They were one of the worst bands of all time with their silly songs and beliefs on yoga and meditation. How can anyone really listen to these guys. It took them hundreds of takes to record just one song, "I will" as an example. I don';t see what people hear in them. Listen to classic music instead.
One thing I have noticed, is that every time Yoko appears in this footage she looks like some sort of harbinger of death. To be honest I don't have strong feelings about her either way, it's just an observation.

Hey, if they want to remember them that way; let them. : /
Everyone has different things that make them remember those passed away, it's hard not to think of two members of a band that only comprise of four people, it's half the band. When people think about the Beatles, they're aware that half the band is gone. :/

George was so honest, he did not hide the truth for interviews, Ringo is rather honest, Paul at times, John liked to fool the public when he felt some need to, and I think that makes some sense, but George you could always believe.
I dont mean this as a put down, but how is it that in so many studio shots the group is just there as the camera moves around, and yet Paul, is in focus, and from a camera that seems to be mounted on the piano, as he is looks directly into it.
That's why the Beatles broke up. They got tired of being sidemen for Paul. John was into Yoko also. He kept bringing her into the recording sessions and they resented this. Arguments broke out between George and Paul as Paul told him how to play the guitar. George walked out for a week.
Yes I have seen the tapes, the let it be album, paul telling George how to play his guitar, but how did that camera get set up on Pauls piano, check it out on the let it be you tube, its funny.
I never knew that George and John fought each other like in a physical way. But what about? They should not fight like that. I knew George had walked out on the group as did Ringo before him. They was getting sick of each other and that happens after being together for so long since Hamburg days.
@EmileJoulbert that makes sense actually- John was always a troublemaker as a kid getting into many physical fights. He felt bad for fighting so much so in the Beatles days he tried to be the peacemaker early on- though in the ned when tempers were short he of course lost his temper like any human. I doubt he hit any of the other Beatles though- he was more into verbal/media attacks at the time

That John and George came to blows. Whether it is true or not, I don't know. But EmilJourbt told me, he is down below on this page. You might want to ask him about that one.
it's interesting how at 0:54 they cut away from george's next remark (you can see it in the director's cut ep. 8 pt. 6) where he says, "And he was the one also who set about the nasty rumor about Maharishi." interesting that someone decided to cut that out of the initial anthology release.
there's also another place too where george says the stuff about maharishi and mia farrow was all bullshit, and if you don't believe him just go ask mia farrow! george was so hilarious.
The late Billy Preston sung that song years ago in the 1970's. George, Billy, and John are dead now so they must be together making new tunes. God only knows.
I was watching the news today and I'm not kidding...the walk and facial expression Paul does from 1:17 is pretty much the exact same as when he walked to court!

Y'know, I've heard alot of critism to Spector's over-abundance of sound on Long Winding Road. And even though I always liked that version,
I can really see why Paul liked the more simplified version.
The sparse arrangement seems to add alot more to the mood of the song.
