  • @rj689 He was in love with her (well that's what he said) so if he found her beautiful there wasn't much that'd make him change his mind

  • George was so real

  • QUE CANCION CANTA GEORGE AL PRINCIPO AYUDENME PORFAVOR

  • Paul hit the nail on the head. They truly were just a good little rockn roll band, nothing more nothing less. When fame and fortune made them loose sight of it, they collapsed.

  • why the hell was john lennon with loko thats what i call her. john lennon could have any hot chick he wanted back then its not about her looks i know that but she was ugly on the inside towards people that helped john before her ass came around

  • why the hell was john lennon with loko thats what i call her. john lennon could have any hot chick he wanted back then

  • This version of The Long and Winding Road is so much better then the final cut. Beautiful.

  • John of Bass?

  • The long and winding road is really beautiful.

  • I seriously want george harrisons boots. They look so cosy

  • @Atomicflash500 go fuck yourself

  • @Atomicflash500 Should check your sources before making such a stupid ass statement.

  • 5:10 Is Paul jealous of Linda being chatted up? "Watch it, pal!" Hahah.

  • LOL! The Beatles were no enterpreneurs. Apple was such a fail.

  • 1:23 Paul: "Mmm, groupies..."

  • @1:58 i just love the slippers George is wearing

  • @1990son same :) :) :)

  • those girls waiting outside were hoping that one of the Beatles would put it in em haha its true

  • Thumbs up if your dog's name is Ringo.

  • hahaha ringo shaking his head jus tryin to stay awake fro the long and winding road

  • ha ha ha ha...!! ese magic alex es taaan patetico!!!

  • That whole magic alex thing was just one big "LOOKS LEGIT" joke

  • Ringo peeked out from behind the car at 1:30 :D Made me giggle.

And, pretty sure he's falling asleep during 'The Long and Winding Road' there xD

  • Aha, Ringo peeking around the car made me giggle

    1:30

  • Yoko at 7:04 looks like she can't believe she has to sit thru anything Paul was performing. Lennon may have been a genius but the fact that he fell for a no talent hack and couldn't see what she really was is unsettling. Love truly is blind.

  • i didnt know paul has green eyes...i thought they were brown?..

  • @Ohgeeitvienna Yeah...constant source for the "PID"ers to claim Paul died in 1966...lol..Sometime in the early sixties he said in an interview or so that his eyes are hazel. Usually hazel is a combination of green and brown,so...I have come to the conclusion that he had darker brown eyes when he was younger, and greener since he got older, multi colored eyes can change due becoming old or sickness

  • i dont get why the people dont recognize them when they are walking out of the cars?

  • @ielizondo44 it wasnt unussual for the beatles to walk around. when john died paul said he hadnt known why it haddent happend earlier because john was constantly out

  • Instead of blaming Yoko for everything, I wonder if they would have broken up in the cameras weren't allowed in for "Let It Be"...or better yet, they wouldn't have broken up right after it was done.

  • i love get back ta tara tata

  • 1:31 RINGO POPPED OUT

  • Ringo's green suit! Ha ha!

  • Alexis ? the greatest idiot on earth!

  • Billy Preston also deserves credit for being a 5th Beatle- he played on their albums many times-never live or tv or anything, never famous, just a hard worker and peacemaker in the band behind the scenes. He was so apreciated the Beatles actually credited him on the album- hes 1 of the only non Beatles to ever be credited on a Beatles album

  • mccartney is soo mens wearhouse

  • Ha! Ringo's green suit. Those were the day.

  • George wearing LUGS, many decades before they were fashionable.

  • Thumbs up for McCartney's beard

  • Elektronik...Supersonik...hello John!

  • I could listen to George Martin talk all day. Seriously, I'd pay to listen to him read the dictionary.

  • LOL how george saya bitchy OMFG HALARIOUS!

  • love to see john playing the bass on long and winding road.

  • Paul is the only one of them that can still look cute with a beard ^_^ (Yes, I'm talking to you, Mr. Lennon, with that crazy mountain beard from Abbey Road xD)

  • I think that's the difference between a John fan and a Paul fan, whenever Paul looks into the camera either you're reaction is 'Wow' or 'Cmon man, give it a rest...' Mine is the latter, I mean I know Paul liked to play the heartthrob, but cmon man, give it a rest...

  • @irishman05050505 I think it's more of a performer thing than a 'heartthrob' thing. I think it was a heartthrob thing in the beginning, I'm sure. But who wants to watch someone perform a song while they're looking down the whole time? And yes, I know that they're recording, and not necessarily performing (despite the cameras--which Paul was very much aware of), but I think Paul had it ingrained in him to be the ultimate showman and performer. And for the record, I'm both a Paul and John fan.

  • i wanna cry every time i see this video of a long and winding road. every time Paul looks into the camera, i fall in love with him a little bit more. lol, he's still such a good looking man.

  • "I would like to say hello to all my broddas around tha world, and all tha girls around tha world, and all tha electronic people around tha world."

    oh, Magic Alex..........

  • they over did the love songs

  • Which anthology do they talk about the Abbey Road album? Anoyone know? Ive been watching these videos in order and its like they just skipped it.

  • Abbey Road was the last album to be recorded although it was released before Let It Be

  • haha.. 'magic' alex

  • The fifth Beatle right there.

  • Billy Preston's bit on The Long and Winding Road is short but nice.

  • I think Let it Be would have been better if it was another double album like The White Album... with more input from everybody, but more opportunities for solo material to appear. I would have loved to have heard "All Things Must Pass" on that album (it was going to be, but was discarded for For You Blue)

  • 'He was an amiable fellow...yes, he was a kind of emolliant that helped to lubricate the friction that had been there'. Who talks like that!!!! Geogre martin is the poshiest man on the planet!! Good work though George!!

  • love harrison,..he tells it like it is,..

  • Billy Preston is a fucking shredder. No doubt about it.

  • what happens in between clips? are we missing something?

  • Love George at 3:19. "It's interesting to see how people behave nicely when you bring a guest in because they don't really want everybody to know that they are so bitchy". lol.

"100% improvement in the vibe of the room"

Ringo at 4:22 "when we were working on something good, the bullshit went out the window"

And Paul <3 "To me the Beatles were always a great, little band...seemed to work, seemed to jell"

  • bitchy :D

    god, i love 'em :D

  • 0:12

Magic Alex is a fucking tool

  • i know...he sounds like borat

  • those boots are fucking sweet and lovely boy i love them George Harrison's Boots=Lovely!!!

  • Do you see Billy's expression. He's like, "WOW, The Beatles!"

  • I wrote most of their tunes in the backroom, off camera and never got one credit for it....lol

Isn't that gratitude. I am suing McCartney and the estate of Lennon for copyright infringment...lol

  • who the hell is the guy with a black robe like a scientist? haha... thinking he's cool saying hello to the girls of the world...

  • Alexis is pimpin'!!

  • Hello what is the name of the song at 6:05

  • only a beatles classic

  • @KGS0604 "The Long And Winding Road" is the song title at 6:04 (by Paul McCartney credited to Lennon-McCartney)on The Beatles' album Let It Be. It became the Beatles' last number-one song in the United States on 23 May 1970, and was the last single released by the Beatles.

  • One thing I have noticed, is that every time Yoko appears in this footage she looks like some sort of harbinger of death. To be honest I don't have strong feelings about her either way, it's just an observation.

  • does anybody else get like ubersad when they hear The Long And Winding Road?

  • fucking loser!

  • yeah. dude, you need to check yourself.

  • Check myself?? aggghhhhh. Its insulting having a sadcunt who writes little gay fan lists like a 13yo girl about bands like panic at the disco comment on beatles stuff like saying it makes you "ubersad". Your a fucking disgrace.

  • little gay fan lists? and just because I like Panic at the Disco, I'm not allowed to like The Beatles?

  • Correct.

  • and why is that?

  • Because you have shit taste in music and its anoying to read your stupid comments on every one of these videos. i.e that this makes you "ubersad". That has to be the one of the lamest things I have ever read and it makes me cringe. Basically I can just tell what a tryhard music idiot you are. Of course you can write or like whatever you want to.....and I can comment on how embarrasing it is reading your gay comments.

  • A - if my comments annoy you, don't read them.

B - you're basing my entire music taste on one band?

  • don't listen to these old little dick queers like what u like music is music art is art respect to you and your views

  • thank you.

  • I just about laughed myself into a coma at 3:25 when George said "bitchy" hahaha!

  • is George wearing Ugg boots at 2:05 ?? XD

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • XD i saw that too!!

  • i love the beatles (L)

  • Damn Billy Preston was feeling it...

  • they all look cool as fuck

  • I stressed to see Yoko as the shadow of John

  • Probably Yoko could have been the sixth Beatle, LOL! Just kidding.

  • I feel bad for the people who listen to a beatles song and is automatically reminded that John and George are dead....seriously, lighten up

  • Hey, if they want to remember them that way; let them. : /

Everyone has different things that make them remember those passed away, it's hard not to think of two members of a band that only comprise of four people, it's half the band. When people think about the Beatles, they're aware that half the band is gone. :/

  • im replying to you're comment saying people listen to beatles music and remember jon and george are dead. when i hear beatles music i hear talent. i hear great music. i hear great artist. and i see george and john as two great artist. not two dead guys. so i completly agree with you.

  • Haha George: There wasn't anything he ever did except for he had a toilet with a radio in it. haha classic george

  • George Martin is a genius, and yes he is the fifth Beatle, he organized the sound.

  • George was so honest, he did not hide the truth for interviews, Ringo is rather honest, Paul at times, John liked to fool the public when he felt some need to, and I think that makes some sense, but George you could always believe.

  • george dbio morir antes =)

  • magnific song

  • I dont mean this as a put down, but how is it that in so many studio shots the group is just there as the camera moves around, and yet Paul, is in focus, and from a camera that seems to be mounted on the piano, as he is looks directly into it.

  • That's why the Beatles broke up. They got tired of being sidemen for Paul. John was into Yoko also. He kept bringing her into the recording sessions and they resented this. Arguments broke out between George and Paul as Paul told him how to play the guitar. George walked out for a week.

  • Yes I have seen the tapes, the let it be album, paul telling George how to play his guitar, but how did that camera get set up on Pauls piano, check it out on the let it be you tube, its funny.

  • Rumour has it -- and it's been confirmed by George Martin -- that George left after he(George Harrison) and JOHN came to blows.

Youd think it would have been with Paul, but it was with John. says Sir George Martin. It was all hushed up afterwards.

[I copied this from another website.]

  • I never knew that George and John fought each other like in a physical way. But what about? They should not fight like that. I knew George had walked out on the group as did Ringo before him. They was getting sick of each other and that happens after being together for so long since Hamburg days.

  • @EmileJoulbert that makes sense actually- John was always a troublemaker as a kid getting into many physical fights. He felt bad for fighting so much so in the Beatles days he tried to be the peacemaker early on- though in the ned when tempers were short he of course lost his temper like any human. I doubt he hit any of the other Beatles though- he was more into verbal/media attacks at the time

  • Around 1:29 LOL

  • I'm jealous of Paul's beard from this era;)

  • Aw, John at 3:48 Ha.

  • i dont hate yoko but if john would've never met yoko he probrably nover had gotten shot

  • I don't know. You can't really say that, you know.

May or may not be true.

It happened, and that's it. It's still sad that it did.

    R.I.P-John Lennon and George Harrison.

  • I don't know (:

Circumstances had it that the morning he got shot, he had a photoshoot with the Rolling Stones magazine, including him&Yoko.

Any number of circumstances could have changed that day. :/

    R.I.P. JL & GH

  • mark chapman travelled to new york from hawaii specifically to shoot john.

so no matter if he was with yoko in new york or in london by himself chapman would probably have got to him.wherever he went.

  • im tired of people mentioning that fuckin ass hole chapman when talking about lennon thats what that piece of shit wants.just remember lennon and is music

  • i dont know what comment of mine that your replying to because it seems to have dissapeared.

    what did i say?

  • Chapman, a programmed by the CIA to kill John off ordered by Nixon because of John's political ties and so he was seen as a threat to the U.S. government. He was killed to get him out of the way as Reagan administration came in.

  • WTF

who in the world told you that?!

    that

    is

    shit.

  • That John and George came to blows. Whether it is true or not, I don't know. But EmilJourbt told me, he is down below on this page. You might want to ask him about that one.

  • is it just me or is george wearing ugg boots

  • Ahaha that's funny Austin Powers at 5.12 , Yeah baby .

  • LOL Oh behave! Groovy baby yeah!

  • what's the song that starts at 1:11? and ends at 2:46

  • "for you blue"

  • George Harrison wrote it.

  • Y'know, I've heard alot of critism to Spector's over-abundance of sound on Long Winding Road. And even though I always liked that version,

I can really see why Paul liked the more simplified version.

The sparse arrangement seems to add alot more to the mood of the song.

  • it's interesting how at 0:54 they cut away from george's next remark (you can see it in the director's cut ep. 8 pt. 6) where he says, "And he was the one also who set about the nasty rumor about Maharishi." interesting that someone decided to cut that out of the initial anthology release.

there's also another place too where george says the stuff about maharishi and mia farrow was all bullshit, and if you don't believe him just go ask mia farrow! george was so hilarious.

  • Jesus christ, it's Austin Powers at 5:12

  • who's the pianist in this video?

  • The late great Billy Preston

  • I heard "Nothing from Nothing" on the radio at work, when somebody asked me who was singing I said those exact words:)

  • The late Billy Preston sung that song years ago in the 1970's. George, Billy, and John are dead now so they must be together making new tunes. God only knows.

  • I love your George!

  • "There wasn't anything he ever did, except he had a toilet with a radio in it or something"

    LOL!!

  • i love that too

  • You can really hear George grow as a singer watching all of these Anthologies straight through. (needless to say, a songwriter too)

  • yeah, Billy Preston is such a cool guy. R.I.P. Billy

  • billy preston is so cool

  • I was watching the news today and I'm not kidding...the walk and facial expression Paul does from 1:17 is pretty much the exact same as when he walked to court!

  • you read the news today, oh boy!

  • lol at 2:05 George's boots!

  • they're like the 1969 prototype of the Ugg

  • Yes u r so right!!! but they look pretty cool!

  • Ja seguro queera horrible apple yo no quisiera aver entrado nunca , obvio que despues de los beatles muchos mas grabaron alli ya que lo reformaron todo buenisimo

  • At the time George had been overlooked as a songwriter but as we look back we can see how good and creative he really was.

  • This is rich ! Ringo is straight and solid. Where's Paul camping out? There's no firewood left in England, is there?

  • a toilet with a radio in it. LOL

  • I don't care how pissed off i would be at that guy or how useless it is... but i would totally keep that toilet!

  • beautiful. delightful. full of pleasure. eloquent.

  • NO, ALEXIEIS

  • i love you
