Hey Sid Congratz for your bike... I also want to be a proud owner of Enfield Classic 350 can you please tell me about its maintanence cost and Ride comfert because some people say they get backache from riding the bike.
hi, maintenance cost is ok... more than others but lesser than previous bullets. Bike is comfortable... i have ridden up to 800kms on it in a single day... done more than 25000 kms on it...
There is no support for the back but the way handle and seat work togethor is ok. Not as comfortable as an electra but very much comfortable than others.

@starnite444 there is no comparison. They are sport bikes... classic cannot be compared. They are light and easy to move around in traffic.
classic 350 is heavier but it has a better road presence.
performance wise both are comparable.
recently i was on a trip to ladakh and my friend had an FZ-S. It almost died at higher altitudes. It had to be tuned for higher altitudes and retuned back for plains.
My classic 350 handled everything with ease. Its a pleasure to ride.

@lovinthumper you will miss the thump. in every other aspect, classic 350 is better. i owned an electra 4s myself. the classic 350 has a much better performance with lesser maintenance.
Awesome bike dude.I m spending most of my time currently drooling all over this (actually the classic 500).
I m not a huge fan of the enfields,I m basically a 100kmph in 400 mtrs guy,but somehow these 2009 beauties wont let me sleep at night.Have a blast \m/.

i hope you have one soon. You'll love it. Though these bikes are not meant for racing but these new engines certainly have a better throttle response than previous enfields. They are a lot quicker and the 500 one is a beast :)
this bike overbooked....wondering when my turn will come...booked it on 9th of november and still havnt got the delivery...they are saying maybe 10th of january....m losing my patience
Hey u know i got my ride.... and the date was actually 19/12/2009 i.e last saturday.... man its amazing, and since i really want to change my silencer like the one in the Enfield's website, i'm riding hard to make 500km+ within this 4 to 5 days... and i'm loving it believe me....
Nice Ride dude..... i'm havin mine 2moro i.e 18/12/09..... can't wait... waited almost for a month for the maron color classic ...... be safe ride welllllll.
this is my next bike... waiting for this 4S version..

that would be a personal choice... even though its an excellent bike, i never liked the looks of thunderbird... bullet is a bullet.

i booked a classic 350 on April 2010 they said me to wait for 6 months due to bak logs i am waiting to get my hands on one of these...........

got mine too....removed the back seat and this 500cc beast goes like anything....will be changing the silencer after rto passing...love the THUMP
