  • Grazie.. Enjoyed making the dish..

  • @ChrWedege You're welcome!

  • Wow replace ur audio. Sounds weird with 2 different languages going.

  • good to see Italian food cooked by Italians, thankyou for the video :)

  • @GCMaxProductions i don't think she's italian, I think she's spanish

  • @Paulpunkrocks I'm definitely Italian!

  • ew who puts bologna in meatballs??

  • @kittenxlover It makes them tastier, but you can avoid it if you prefer

  • @yellowsaffron i bet it does, but i'm italian and i have never heard of putting bologna in meatballs in any italian meatball recipe

  • lovely thankyou, what kind of sausages do you use? doesn't look much like the sausages we get here, is it salami?

  • @ukguy It's fresh pork sausage

  • The clock tells me I should wait 4-5 hours... really?

  • @RookieZeratul No, the clock isn't indicatory

  • Do the meatballs cook in the sauce?

  • @penney1414 Yes, and in the meanwhile they make the sauce flavoursome

  • THIS ISN'T AN ITALIAN RECIPE. There's some italian tipical ingredients, ok, but the recipe is "AMERITALIAN" . Btw, it's a lovely dish...

  • where is the best place to eat in Lliverno

  • looks delicious I want Italian food now!

  • I love this.

  • This be marios favourite meal. mama mia!

  • This is NOT an italian recipe. In italy we don't eat it.

  • @anto0099 Actually, it's a recipe which has become a symbol of the Italian cuisine abroad!

  • @anto0099 Fact!

  • So italiano, so stato in italia 26 anni, nord sud ovest est e sti spaghetti con i "meat ball" li ho visti solo in inghilterra!

  • @cyruspersianorum Non lo visto neanche in Inghilterra. Che Yellowsaffron dica che e' il simbolo della cucina italiana all'estero, mi sembra troppo. Magari negli USA!! Fino a prova contraria all'estero ci sono altri paesi apparte gli USA.

  • cool recipe I'll have to try that, gracias. oh BTW, that clock graphic makes me laugh as it goes around 4 or 5 hours making the recipe seem to take a long time.

  • Wow, I want to eat this now.

  • Does that pot with the strainer already in it have a special name or something? I NEED to get one of those o.o

  • im half Italian and Spaghetti with meatballs is not from Italy so its not a Italian recipe

  • @mike32614 If you don't use the reply button he will never see your comment.

How he can call a dish variant "WRONG" when it's personal preference and is different per country/culture is astounding. Not to mention it's only type of meat, in pasta, if the sauce is nice, any meat will do, shit I could have just veggies in it.

  • @mike32614 I've heard that! I read somewhere that in authentic Italian cuisine, meat is served as the main dish while pasta is the side dish. I'm part Sicilian, myself.

  • @RETROGEMS Actually, pasta is served as a first course and meat as a main course, or they can be both served as a single course... but pasta is never a side dish in Italy!

  • @yellowsaffron Oh, okay, I guess I got it confused! I didn't really grow up with a lot of Italian cooking but as an adult, I LOVE pasta and other Italian (primarily Italian-American) food. I should learn how to make some authentic Italian dishes! :)

  • @RETROGEMS This is the right place, I hope you enjoy it!

  • 1 CLOVE OF GARLIC ONLY?....... its a sin!!!!! haha....

I use at least 8-10 cloves... and Balone in meatballs??????.....

this is desecrating traditional italian meatballs.....!!!!! and Ive been an italian cook for 30 years...... balone in meatballs is WRONG!!!!!

  • What do u do if the Meatball does not stay compact/together?

  • @Telekinisis8467 If you follow the recipe, be sure they'll stay together

  • @Telekinisis8467 add more "binding" ingredients, egg, breadcrumbs, parmesean, mustard, mayo, all "Binders".

This recipe is kinda boring, pretty bare bones. Of course, this is a simple dish too soo.............

  • Thanks Sonia for the recipe & Arianna for the authentic Italian narration :D My nonna makes this dish every Sunday for the whole family, it's tradition to sit down together and have it in our home with a delicious polenta and chicken.

  • Please fire the voiceover girl

  • @Maedhros You're asking to fire someone who's doing their job? Why don't you do something useful, such as getting a life, for example. Have you no character to ask to fire someone who's speaking english with an Italian accent when this is an Italian channel?

  • I'll make this the day after tomorrow! :D

  • Hi...Should one add red wine or beef stock to the sauce ?

  • @rosickyo7 It should not be necessary

  • Deep frying the meatballs would seal them and stop the flavour frm penetrating the meatballs and also stop the meatballs from flavouring the sauce ad italians are big for flavoursome sauces. A rule of thumb with recipes is try them exactly as the recipe states first then make your own ajustments. Sometimes its fun to try things outside the norm.

I think its hilaious that you guys say homoenous mixture, it cracks me up every time! love the recipe, i might actually try these meatballs.

  • will the meatballs taste better if it is baked in the oven or fry in oil before adding to the tomato sauce?

  • @hotuckfai In this way they won't flavour the sauce

  • @yellowsaffron oh, interesting :) you are the best cook ^^

  • MMMMM omfg i want some D: lol and those were such perfect looking meatballs D: XD

  • Gotta love this channel, so informative and sonya is just amazing :)

  • do you need bologna cause i hate it

  • @keiko321 You can avoid it if you prefer

  • Mi piaceva di più la voce inglese che c'era al inizio di Yellowsaffron. Intendo questa Tiramisù, Italian original recipe.

  • aren't u suppose to deep fry meat balls before adding it to the sauce???

  • @axim81 If you want to fry them and make it a lot more unhealthy, go for it. She said to let them cook in the sauce for 30minutes so that basically makes the deep fry part a waste of time/oil/ and, like I said, makes the meat balls unhealthy.

  • @MagicalPeanutTree..... thts an interesting point ..........i agree wid u .........thnx

  • @axim81 It makes them more tender if you don't fry the meatballs

  • and drink Ayran with that meal. Hmm delicious :)

  • "Jag ska giva dig på mopo!"

Anyway, awesome video. Thanks for the recipe. =)

  • Is bologna a traditional meatball ingredient ?

  • @uniqueedgings No, it's an ingredient we added to make the meatballs more flavoursome

  • @yellowsaffron We can't buy bologna in Poland so can I just put more minced pork?

  • What should I do if the meatballs are not compact after a minute of cookign in sauce?

  • @kucibaba2 If you follow the recipe, they'll be compact!

  • How do you change your kitchen design so often? The most beautiful are this one and the red one. Yum!

  • @kucibaba2 We change it according to the season and for special occasion... bu it's a secret how we do it ;-)

  • first!
