That's like ultimate engagement for both the dog and Micheal. What word does he use for down and what is its origin? Pushay? The word is also used in the Training with Tugs video. Since I've ruined the word DOWN I plan to use a new one. Also I noticed he used a PLACE command where Pi moved between his legs. The PLACE command is taught in the Obedience Video to mean go to a spot in the house. Does Pi know that command in the house as well?
@bruxiem Most of his commands are done in French. Down is Coucher (coo-shay). Can't post links but google "Dr. P's dog training commands" for a list of commands in different languages and their pronunciations. Most of the German, French, Czech, and Dutch commands even have audio files.
I find this very inspiring! Especially the fact that this is a dog competing at high levels in a very challenging sport and this work is still being done. I love my DVDs and the way my dogs now play and work thanks to the information on them :) Thank you for all the great information and especially the newsletter videos!
