I totally agree with your view point, as I love this song, Patrick Wolf and everything he stands for, and hate homophobic bigots. I would just like to say though, that I feel that whilst it certainly does not matter if someone is gay, it is still part of their identity, and to completely ignore it is to overlook a part of them. So maybe for some people, knowing that he is bi or whatever helps their understanding of his work. That's just my opinion, sorry if it offends in any way.
