I am interested in getting the Mylo 2. Actually, I am debating between this and the Nokia N810. I have the same question as another user: what is the range of the Wi-Fi? I do not see any reason in spending that much money on something I cannot even use for its main feature.

works really well. They updated the firmware so the mylo works a lot better now. I would rather have the mylo for high res and stuff. PSP has skype now though so its a choice if you want something for games or something closer to a PDA.

yes it is, but some wifi connections have WEP key codes, which you need in order to acsess. it is free.

Hmm... very tough descision. The PSP is pretty much this thing except the PSP has no keyboard and no camera. The slim PSP DOES have Skype now which is pretty cool but overall I say you're getting more with the PSP because of games and the big screen. And the PSP doesn't have a widget system or messenger. I say sony needs to combine the best of both worlds and make a PSP 2 just like the Mylo and with a semi-open OS.

Nope, problem with Wi-Fi is that the range for it is pretty pathetic, there are other technologies that will eventually obsolete Wi-Fi, Wi-Max for instance.

It will scan for internet connections, and as long as your in a built up area with plenty of buildings, you should find an empty network. ;)

Still uses skype. Its not a phone its a skype device. However the touch screen allows you to dial as you would with a regular phone.

Videos are clear, even resized. I was surprised how clear the screen is. Its the clearest screen I have seen in most portables. As for the downloading, I will look into it when I get home. I know it can upload but I will have to look into how to download or if I can.

Nice review I didn't even know this product existed! Good to know about the external speaker (I can't stand that Apple took that off of the iPod Touch). Plus I forgot to mention in my review that the iPod Touch does not have a simple camera like the iPhone.

Never used a sidekick. This actually had 2 speakers. One external, the other is specific for skype. So you can use it like a phone. It worked pretty well for skype when I tested it.
