Mark Schultz has a way of putting words to song that inspire you in some of your worst down times. I listen to him in my car all the time and he is definitely one of God's blessings.
The words of this song have helped me minister to a friend a lot. She's lived a terribly broken life, and while she trusts in God, she sometimes lets Satan get to her with his lies. She feels a lot like she's worthless, but I've reminded her that we're all priceless to God. Thank you once again for the beautiful song, God bless!

This is so true. I've had several suicidal thoughts, & while I was listening to this song, my heart melted. I then stumbled upon Romans 8:34-39, I felt as if I was loved, which I haven't felt for a long while. My Youth Pastor then visited me the next day, just checking up on me, & when he asked if I was okay, I began to cry, saying I needed God in my heart. I met Christ within the next hour, & I am so thankful that I did. Halleluiah, Praise God. Thanks for making this video. God Bless Your Heart

He loves us -he does not abuse but we have free will-he does not force us to love -if we love him then we love others-that does not mean we condone and participate in their sin.
I'm so glad to be a child of God, and to say I'm working to bring more to him. Jesus said "if you love Me, feed my sheep." And I'm proud to say I'm doing that to the best of my abilities.
i am so broken. i used to serve God...but i have slipped away. i struggle with an eating disorder, i cut myself, and i was hospitalized last night when i attempted suicide. I am trying to come back to God..but i feel like its too late. but i cant let the devil win anymore! he is going to take my life...literally, unless i trust in God to help me beat him.

I finally came to a point where God broke me down in order to get my attention. then He told me He has never left me and never will. i have started reading my bible again and doing a Beth Moore bible study. I am trying to get back on the right road...and although it may seem like a lost cause...ALL THINGS are possible through Christ who gives me strength!

While they may reject Him today, they may be searching for Him tomorrow. Jeremiah 29:13 says "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." I feel like that i am living half of this song no matter on what I do. I feel like I am too broken and have been hurt by so many people that I with I could be my old self and not have a thing to worry about, and with God's help I will be able to get back to that. I will be a long and hard road but I know I will get there someday soon.

Grew up in church and a christian family. Turned my back on God. Figured I fell too far to love. Went to church cause my family asked me to...figured I would listen to good music on the way...turned on the joy fm and this song was on...I walked into church...they were playing the song...the tears flowed...I walked straight to the alter and gave my life to Christ. Most beautiful thing Ive ever been a part of. HE saved my life.

The truth is that we are ALL guilty. 1 Peter 4:8 tells us, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." We all fall short. We fell short before accepting His grace and we continue to fall short after. Yet so many seem intent on earning what they have already received. The fact is we can't. Jesus' love has certainly covered a multitude of sins. He has covered all of mine!
@MpriscillaM So many hold God at arm's length because they perceive themselves as unable to change. The thing is that they are half way there. We can't change ourselves. However, for God all things are possible. If He can take Saul of Tarsus and turn him into Paul, the writer of most of the New Testament he can transform anyone's heart!

@lifeisagameofsoccer7 The truth is that it's our brokenness that keeps us closest to God. It used to be what kept me at arm's length but that was before I knew His heart. Brokenness is one of the reasons that I need Him and He is the only one capable of taking pain and sorrow and transforming them to joy and peace. Thank you, Jesus!

@AnyaDoctorNeal When Jesus gave his famous sermon on the mount he said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." I interpret this as "blessed are those that know they are broken..." Imagine that, those of us who realize our brokenness are blessed! The truth is that we are ALL broken but only so many are willing to acknowledge it. The rest of us continue play acting with God. So, my friend, you are blessed!

@nocysfinest4ever We ARE all broken and beautiful. Although we may wish to have no remnants of our brokenness, it does remain. The process of healing takes a lifetime. It's not a question of who is broken and who is not. Look to your right and your left... and then in the mirror and you will find it. Only Jesus can reach those places. Thanks for your comment.
I've listened to this song at least 20 times in the past few days, and I have to say, it's so beyond inspirational that I can't help but be brought to tears at least once every few times. Our God is an amazing one, never forget that.
@Vappor01 I love to hear that! (no it has nothing to do with my hit count on this video.. LOL!) I think the reason I love this song the most is because I see the absolute truth in it. It was in my most broken state that I surrendered to His love. It was when I had nowhere else to turn that I turned to Him. Still He didn't condemn me. Rather, He showed me my true identity. It is is found in Christ Jesus. He lives in me... and broken became BEAUTIFUL.
Four common sense reasons why I think there is no god; A) Total absence from the natural world. No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent. One could accept that the guilty must suffer, but children ???

During the conversation the woman picks up a beautiful glass vase and throws it on the floor and shatters it and yells "that is my life! Broken!" Shortly after that Joshua leaves town, but before he does he drops off the vase to a priest and instructs him to give it back to the woman. Joshua had transformed the vase into something more beautiful.

She is obviously in a tough situation with a guy who has no morals. The good thing is you are no longer with a boy/man like that. The horrible thing is that your sister is having a child by him. This was the 1st song that brought me truly back to God after my husband passed away...The widowed wife I felt as if God was speaking to me...I know the song says so much more, now I feel as if everyone should be accepted at any Church regardless of their circumstances..

@Il00OOll jesus is a person not a religion-religion tries to reach god by working. God came to us in Jesus and loved us enough to die. He loves us -he does not abuse but we have free will-he does not force us to love -if we love him then we love others-that does not mean we condone and participate in their sin.

i am so broken. i used to serve God...but i have slipped away. i struggle with an eating disorder, i cut myself, and i was hospitalized last night when i attempted suicide. I am trying to come back to God..but i feel like its too late. but i cant let the devil win anymore! he is going to take my life...literally, unless i trust in God to help me beat him.

I finally came to a point where God broke me down in order to get my attention. then He told me He has never left me and never will. i have started reading my bible again and doing a Beth Moore bible study. I am trying to get back on the right road...and although it may seem like a lost cause...ALL THINGS are possible through Christ who gives me strength!

I feel like that i am living half of this song no matter on what I do. I feel like I am too broken and have been hurt by so many people that I with I could be my old self and not have a thing to worry about, and with God's help I will be able to get back to that. Grew up in church and a christian family. Turned my back on God. Figured I fell too far to love. Went to church cause my family asked me to...figured I would listen to good music on the way...turned on the joy fm and this song was on...I walked into church...they were playing the song...the tears flowed...I walked straight to the alter and gave my life to Christ. Most beautiful thing Ive ever been a part of. HE saved my life.

The truth is that we are ALL guilty. 1 Peter 4:8 tells us, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." We all fall short. We fell short before accepting His grace and we continue to fall short after. Yet so many seem intent on earning what they have already received. The fact is we can't. Jesus' love has certainly covered a multitude of sins. He has covered all of mine!

However, for God all things are possible. If He can take Saul of Tarsus and turn him into Paul, the writer of most of the New Testament he can transform anyone's heart!

I interpret this as "blessed are those that know they are broken..." Imagine that, those of us who realize our brokenness are blessed! The truth is that we are ALL broken but only so many are willing to acknowledge it. The rest of us continue play acting with God. So, my friend, you are blessed!

It was in my most broken state that I surrendered to His love. It was when I had nowhere else to turn that I turned to Him. Still He didn't condemn me. Rather, He showed me my true identity. No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. @jfLoDemilovatofan There is a Christian movie called Joshua. In it Joshua (Jesus incognito) is speaking to a woman with a broken life. During the conversation the woman picks up a beautiful glass vase and throws it on the floor and shatters it and yells "that is my life! Broken!" Shortly after that Joshua leaves town, but before he does he drops off the vase to a priest and instructs him to give it back to the woman. Joshua had transformed the vase into something more beautiful.

She is obviously in a tough situation with a guy who has no morals. The good thing is you are no longer with a boy/man like that. The horrible thing is that your sister is having a child by him. @karrs8000 I can tell that's a very sincere statement. One of my biggest problems is separating truth from feelings. What I feel always seems to be the most real to me, but that doesn't make it true! Look me up on facebook under mitch salmon. I would love to talk to you more.

I never mix up feelings with truth. Or otherwise I would
say" I know the truth..." but I was feeling. and feelings do change
that's why I can't trust them. I was just being honest about
