@AUnknownC no, the hospital wouldn't give them free chemotherapy. You're confusing treatment and advanced detection techniques with emergency rooms. If you get shot or suffer a heart attack, then they'll take you to the hospital and they'll treat you free of charge. But if you don't have health insurance, then no one's gonna pay for your doctor visits or colonoscopies or medicine that could prevent you from going to the emergency room later on.

These guys seem pretty legitimate to me. I would prefer a healthcare voucher plan that would cover about 2/3 the costs of a BASIC health insurance plan (voucher provided to everyone no matter how rich or poor)over either the Clinton or Obama plans. This would leave the marketplace competitive and leave room for upscale choices for those who can afford more. Nonetheless McCain seems to believe that there is no healthcare crisis. I wonder if McCain has ever been without health insurance?
