You are very intelligent. All I can say is, if a 35 year old weirdo trys to get with my 7 year daughter, then I am gonna be mad. The reason why these pediphiles are bad is because they go out and hunt for little boys and girls WHO DONT WANT TO HAVE SEX and they try to get them into it. It's sick...
@secondshen Actually, I support age of consent laws, and wouldn't "hunt for little boys and girls" or "get with" your 7 yr old daughter. Although I'm not 35.
@The video, A sexual attraction to pubescent/post pubescent minors can be referred to as hebephilia and ephebophilia respectively. Although the latter is considered perfectly "normal". I also like using teleiophilia to describe you "normals".
@Person012345 Attraction to postpubescent minors is just plain attraction. EXCLUSIVE attraction to minors is ephebophilia. If you're attracted to someone who is 1 year below the age of consent, you're normal. If you're not attracted to anyone OVER the age of consent (you're 19? get lost, granny), you're abnormal.
ok: THIS FUCKER SAY ATTRACTION APEARS AROUND 10 - 14 (age). so his brain also works like this? !!!!! í´m sure ONLY HIS fucked up motherfucker shitfuck brain "works" like this!!! i hate people like him! look at him! he loves little gitls at age of 5
I can't make sense of your message. You seem very serious about it, and I'd like to respond, but I can't tell what you're trying to say. However, I will try:
Sexual attraction begins when you're 10-14, id est 10-14 year olds are generally attracted to 10-14 year olds.
All adults were once 10-14 years of age. Therefore they have memories of being attracted to 10-14 year olds. Most people thinking back to a middle school crush still have an attraction response to the memory.
This is obviously NOT the same as saying that most adults are attracted to the notion of having sex with 10-14 year olds as an adult. Yet if you were to ask an adult, 'If you were 14 again, would you still want her/him?' they would likely affirm it.
There's an important point to be made here in psychology about dissociating one's present self from one's younger self, something which we experience in many other areas of our lives.
You are very engaging and that last second close up was fucking hilarious,,,I'm guessing your girlfriend(the one you made up) has stayed with you for 8 years because of your intellligence and wit - not because she likes waking up to your face every morning?!
@TheBBCIsRubbish He isn't here in order to please your eyes. Why is it that when someone is doing something that has nothing to do with looks, it is still your main focus? I take it you have/had some sort of issue with your own physical appearance?
I'm glad you aren't another "kill the evil pedophiles" bigot. I'm sick of hearing about how evil they are and being expected to hate them, while at the same time being expected not to hate other races (not that I do, since I don't). Thanks for thinking like an individual. I don't like being expected to have certain feelings, I feel like my rights and my mind are being violated when politically correct opinions, even ones I agree with, are forced upon me.
@qwexas i agre wtih you, i do not think it's right to hate people just because we are supposed to. i think everyone should be allowed to do their own creative thinking then be drones and hate what others hate. i have no issues with pedophiles at all. sure they have a different type of charecteristics and feelings towards young ones, but sometimes it isn't their fault for that fact that most pre pubecent or older can be physically and emotionally attractive. we have one life to live so who cares
@thedeadguy …but I do believe child-molesters should be arrested. It's not their fault they're attracted, but it's their fault when they act on it. I am against pedophilia, but I don't like being told to be against it. Hate should be optional. Feel how you want, I don't care how you feel, but I do care what you do. A feeling is not an action.
Who cares? People who were abused as children - and people who care about them - care. You may agree with me, but I don't agree with you.
@qwexas um i was abused as a child too, and it sucks that society are against these feelings., but do you ever wonder inside that every human has these feelings, but in todays world since their is an extreme fear , we simply act like their not there. like if you asked a normal human if they thought that, they wouldn't admit it.
@thedeadguy I think we have too much of a stigma, and it probably does more harm than good. If people keep their feelings underground due to fear of society's hostility, they will still have the feelings, which might find expression in the worst ways. If we were more open, maybe we could learn more and help everybody. You're right, I wouldn't admit to having so much as a passing thought, and most people probably wouldn't either.
If an adult has a psychological condition so they're attracted to kids that doesn't make them a bad person, if they have sex with kids that's a whole different story, that's inexcusable.
As far as teenagers go, well just because someone is not 18 doesn't mean it's sick to be attracted to them.
Do you think "legal sexual readiness" should be decided individually by medical means, instead of simply having an age threshold?
For some reason, I can't help but think that some people that have been incarcerated for sexual indulgence with an "underage", were really truly in love, and that judging their acts based on laws (written by flawed men, no less) is sort of ironic.
P.S. To answer the question in your head; no, I have not.
Wouldn't an event which causes panic be the trigger of the panic attack?
Say I am utterly relaxed, let's say reading a book in bed, my mind at ease, and suddenly something in my chest clenches. Still I'm calm and simply wonder what the sensation is. Then I black out very briefly.
Then I panic, in my experience. I'm a person who is slow to react to strange sensations or pains because I'm very accustomed to them. Panic isn't something that hits me very easily at all.
Panic and panic attacks are different things; panic is when a sudden burst of fear intrudes on your ability to percieve and think normally, while a panic attack is an uncontrolled physical and mental state in which the patient can experiance a wide array of physical symptons while feeling some aspects of panic. Panic attacks can happen at any point in time. So this being said, I trigger occurs which causes it happen.
I suppose I'm so accustomed to arguing with doctors against the notion that the panic attacks are being caused by hyperventilation syndrome (with witnesses to attest that no, I didn't hyperventilate), that I'm confusing some things, here.
That's alright, I am merely trying to further your knowledge on the subject. I thank you dearly for taking it into consideration, very noble. I also thank you for replying in a polite demeanor, and not the cliche youtube comment that people seem to vomit out nowadays; "fuk u u so gay, i doktor u dunt no n e thig!". I suppose thats why I subscribe to your intelligent andinteresting videos. Cheers.
Some corrections: There is a term for attraction to those ranging from pubescent to post-pubescent. It's called "ephebophilia".
Also, the UK English pronunciation of "pedophilia" uses a long "e" rather than a short "e". "pee-dophilia" rather than "peh-dophilia." This is also the more correct pronunciation, as the "ae" spelling denotes a long "e" as in the word "aether".
Thought that would be helpful. :) My husband is British, so I have much experience with our pronunciation gap.
Someone already corrected me on ephebophilia, but thanks for that nonetheless.
On pronunciation, I prefer to say 'pay-doh-file' as per the spelling, but it illicits enough ridicule that, in America, I'll alternate between that and 'peh-doh-file'.
Also, I would never, ever pronounce 'aether' with a long E. Madness!
I have as many problems with British pronunciation as I do American and have a hard time seeing either as more correct than the other. I'm my own ultimate judge of English, scarily.
There are going to be so many angry rants by you-know-whos. I can't wait to hear them discredit your perfectly logical arguments with crazy religiously based non-sense.
Well-put... if only the majority were as educated as you are. I mean, nature really did create it's own 'age of consent' - it's called 'puberty'
I was given 60 half-milligram tablets of Ativan and in four months I've only taken six.
I was very specifically instructed to take it only 'as needed', and I can understand why. It is apparently very potentially addictive.
Besides, it was only perscribed to me when I admitted that I hadn't slept in 78 hours, because after going the ER every time I started to drift to sleep some part of my fading consciousness was utterly convinced that I was blacking out or dying. Fun times.
Erm, to answer your question, it works extremely well for me.
Of course it doesn't do anything for my heart murmur or the irregular beats that typically have caused my attacks, but Ativan basically makes it impossible for you to fear anything, so I simply don't care when the irregular beats occur. You could request to gouge my eyeballs out with a spork and I'd probably consent. No wonder it's a popular date-rape drug.
Strangely, despite that, I still otherwise think normally under Ativan.
Agreed. I've been on Celexa and didn't like the way it made me feel. I also barely use my Ativan, mostly just to get me settled at bedtime and right before any important social gatherings (such as today's luncheon with my bosses and the like).
I also fear addiction, but so far I haven't felt any weird compulsions to take more.
Yeah, I've never been a person prone to addiction to anything, and probably due to my fear of it.
I regret not taking the bottle to Iceland. I was there for a job opportunity and probably blew my chances with my nervousness. One expensive trip of fail.
I own eyeglasses and contact lenses. You might notice I've been alternating between videos. I can't see nearly as well with contacts, but they eliminate the problem of the LCD's reflection.
Please don't spell paedophilia in the English way and then say it the American way, it's more cringe-worthy than just spelling as an American.
Stephen Fry would be disappointed in you.

@qwexas that of course ignores non-exclusive paedophiles etc.
Doesn't have to be exclusive, it's about primary sexual attraction. It also has nothing to do with age. It's about sexual maturity.
