All this FOX News clip shows is that either Ron Paul published racist articles in his newsletters under the pseudonym, 'James Powell', or that the racist articles Ron published in his newsletters were submitted by other (paid) writers. Perhaps there is yet another explanation, but the FACT remains Ron Paul published and PROFITED from racist newsletters.

@ErikLiberty What you're saying is that it's ok that Dr. Paul published racist newsletters, because (he now claims) he paid other people to write the racist articles. That's a very poor argument. That's like saying Hitler is qualified to be president because he wasn't responsible for killing those Gypsies, Jews, and disabled people--it was his employees who did that! That's like saying Manson isn't responsible for killing Sharon Tate and her unborn child--his friends did it!

@PostSurgeOperative Hitler directed his employees with specific orders. Ron Paul didn't. Most (not all) of the offending passages were jokes in very poor taste. Furthermore, to call a black politician “Barbara Morondon,” or to say Martin Luther King Jr. was a plagiarist who “beat up his paramours,” isn’t actually racist. It’s mean, and it would appeal to racists (duh), but strictly speaking, a lot of the things being quoted to show how racist Ron Paul’s ghostwriter must be, actually aren’t.

I know there are a lot of people who like Paul but are afraid this investigation would hurt, HOWEVER, waiting till after the primaries, like they've said, would imply we don't care about it enough to reply to the media. I think the right solution is to always be swift and truthful, no matter the consequences(matches Paul's attitude in that regard, as he never sways from Truth even in the most hostile of environments. I think he'd be proud of Ben Swann's work if he saw it.
