as a hindu, i gotta give my respect to Guru Tegh Bahadur because he risk his life to protect his dharma of being a sikh instead of converting to islam..... true respect to him....
I am a Kashmiri Pandit and we always regard TeghBahadur as our savior. I am able to follow my Kashmiri culture because of his (and many Sikhs) Kurbaanis against the Muslims especially the tyranny of Aurangzeb. He, along with all the other Sikhs, were and always will be the only ones who truly cared for us Kashmiri Pandits and became martyrs in the process. We very much revere the Sikhs. May God give Tegh Bahadur's soul eternal peace.
read The Guru Granth Sahib..and open ur eyes..its so beautifull...it says to sacrifice ur aham(ahankar the felling of mera) , kuch mera nahin hai , sab us upar wale ka hai....mitti ka sharir hai mitti mein mil jayega...enjoy ur life and take the name of God in whichever u prefer...Satnam Shree Waheguru...
I have tried to learn from my Guru and commend you on the description of Guru Ji's Beauty. We all realise this body is made from earth, why else do we cremate it, to return it. I must correct you though, ahankaar is not attachment but pride. The feeling of "mera" is Moh. I feel that you are getting confused with Moh and a right to live. If I have a house and keep thinking about it night and day then that could be classed as Moh. The right to live is being removed from Sikhs, which is wrong.
See there is no need to ask for own land....if every 1 asks for their own land on this earth then worl will get divided into very small countries ....we are all Indians..when Guru Nanak didnt ask for any seperate land then why are u asking for it....whole world is creation of that allmighty...
Bhaji/Bhenji, as you may have read above, I had not talked about "own land" as why would the Sikhs want a separate land when we were the majority that sacrificed their lives for the independence movement. I believe there should be no borders, all religions should live together peacefully. We are not all Indians, I for one believe I am British, Guru Nanak Dev Ji did not ask for death in his fifth form, but was he not handed it by the moguls? Maybe it is time India is not classed as Hindustan?
I am sorry but people like you only create controversies, anyways if u are british then please dont comment on what India should do.
There are more than million sikhs around the world who consider themselves as proud Indians, specialy those in the Indian Army they are most proud and most respected Sikhs in India.
I dont want to argue anymore with you, but please remmember one thing that Guru Nanak and all Gurus were Indians and Guru Nanak himself said that India is a Holy Land.
I am sorry that you feel that what I am saying causes a controversy. I am commenting because my heart hurts for that what is happening to the decedents of the Guru. I am sure people are proud to be Indian, but I was simply specifying my nationality, members of my own family were war veterans. I am glad you do not wish to argue, but I thought we were in a discussion. All Gurus were by nationality, but as Guru Nanak was born in what is now Pakistan, does that not make him Pakistani?
And for the other Gurus, those who were born in what is known as India today, I do not think that land was called India. Lands change, it is better not to associate oneself to a specific piece of land unless it is until ones expiration. I am sorry I am not aware that Guru Nanak Dev Ji said that, I would love to know the source. Jai Hind? Why just allow Hindustan to live long?
Sayee Piyare Mel, Jinah Naam Tera Chit Aavey,

I must disagree with you, the ninth master did not fight for the Hindus against "Islam" but instead with the tyrannical rulers, Mughals of that time. You may not remember but during the British rule, it was Sikhs, Muslims & Hindus who looked out for each other. If anybody needs some rights exercised it is the Sikhs, who are still being prosecuted and tortured. Hindus got "Hindu"stan, Muslims got "Paki"stan. What did Sikhs get? Broken Promises. Sorry If I have hurt anybody by what I have said.
@ysderby c dude whateevr happened in 1984 has nuthin gt to do with hidnus it ws all dirty congress party who didi it,but u also cnnot defend the actions of bhindrawale he ws also using a holy place to indulge in terrorist activities ok brother dnt blame hindus, the riots wer nt relgiious by nature it ws all congress workers who killed innocent sikhs,it ws nt hindu-sikh riots, plz dont blame us we lvoe our sikh brothers
@thescorpionking2020 It is not implied that Hindus contributed to 1984. But, most of Congress were Hindus and so were those that attacked Sikhs in November 1984. It is this where we ask whether they do not remember the sacrifices of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. That said, many Hindus protected Sikh in their homes at great danger.
I can defend Sant Jarnail Singh Ji, because the attack was going to be carried out regardless, he defended Harmandir Sahib and was not involved in terrorist activities.
@ysderby dude the riots wer nt religious by nature it ws congreemen wanting to tak revenge for indira gandhi's assassination,u cnt blame hindus 4 that, nobody has forgooten the contribution of sikhs to india and specially to hindus and hinduism, jarnail singhh did nt defend any harminder sahib he used to keep weapons in tht holy place ws the justified i dun think so he used 2 invoke separatist feeling among sikhs wich ws wrong
@thescorpionking2020 I do not agree because if that was the case, then the pogroms would not have targeted Sikhs so extensively. It was almost like a religious extermination, and Sikhs should know, they have faced it before. I do not blame Hindus, I blame those responsible and it is coincidence they were Hindus. Sant Jarnail Singh Ji did defend against the impending attack, one only needs to look to the replica created in Doon Valley. He just wanted more autonomy for Panjabis.
I am a Kashmiri pandit and we respect Guru Tegh bahadur whole heartedly. I can never forget how he has sacrificed his life for my people.
That being said, while Indira Nehru Kaul (INdira gandhi) was a Kashmri Pandit, she did not represent my people....but represented the Congress party in New Delhi.
The attack on the Darbar Sahib was not a Kashmrii pandit against Sikh thing, but an INDIVIDUAL person's POLITICAL move (ie Indira Gandhi vs Bhindranwale).
As a Kashmiri pandit, I apologize on Indira Gandhi's behalf (although please note that she has never represented us). She had even married a Non-kashmiri...Anyway, his was a political move, rather than a religious one.

Bhaji/Bhenji, I must correct you by saying it was actually Guru Gobind... Not Guru Gibind as stated above, I am sure this was a genuine mistake.
