How awfull that they had to asphalt that walkway as well! Saw the documentary on building this bridge, Facinating and obviously it couldn't be kept as it was originally built - but an asphalt walkway instead of the original board walk?
My parents hate that bridge and actaully i never knew that there was a shooting on that bridge in 1994 a sixteen yr old Ari Halberstam got shot in the head and five years later he died from his wounds but now the named him somewhere across some brigde called Ari Halberstam Memorial bless his heart

Why are they blaming it on the bridge? It was a case of terrorism. The shooter was a Muslim man who was targeting Jews.
