These marching band competitions should be for fun and just seeing what other schools can do and not about who does what visual and who's allowed to do it.

does nakata still choreograph the rifles? looking good. and i still notice the hardcore flag work. props to seta. btw, you can't say that they copied mililani. but you can say that moanalua borrowed that "push visual" from santa clara vanguards 2008 show "3hree" at around 6:03 in their video. which is better to say because i see some saltiness being stirred up with this whole "mohs copied mhs" now we can be at peace, because no one copied no one. ive met some nice people in mhs when i marched :D

i really wish people could just watch shows from other bands and appreciate what they have to offer. ALL bands work their butts off during the season. they're all in the same boat. just sit back, relax, and enjoy yourselves.

yeah yeah it's competition, but the first person you should surpass is yourself. until you're ABSOLUTELY perfect, stop hating on others to make you feel better about yourself. it's seriously the wrong route to take - we all know that deep inside.

the 1st thing you learn in this band is discipline and not to be arrogant but humble. it's reminded to us in every single practice, even though its already a habit of ours. and i'm sure your band director talks about how competitions don't mean anything, it's the hard work/practice that matters. we wouldn't bash on your videos yet it happens here. but sometimes you wouldn't let a comment just sit there without responding, they're not the ones who started, you are. its just a goddamn "push" -_-

and about the mililani "push" at 3:23-3:27. that's what that person was talking about. i remember seeing past shows where mililani would always end with that wave of a "push". it shouldn't really be a big deal, it's only an added visual to capture the crowd's eye as the wave is being done and focus it at the end of the wave push to the flag and tuba dance duet. i think it's a perfect way to end the opener

i loved the new things bein done this year. such as the new look on the uniforms, the 2 added snares to the usually 5 snares each year, the new and bigger silks on the flags, and i even noticed the curved rifles. i seen those kinds of rifles in the 07 phantom regiment show at the end. setas experience with drum corps is being put to good use here. it looked so clean that night, and i'm sure there is more to come. congrats on the debut. did gary gilroy write this for you guys this year? mahaloz

yup. hat and gauntlet. PR, SCV, Madison Scout, even some BD tricks in there. Snares went trad grip too. Some guy made a draft for this show and then gary and seta worked on it i think.

Your push i guess is called a company front which is usually done at some impact in the music. A lot of Drum corps and bands incorporate in their show whenever it gets to the climax. im guessing you guys dont know what DCI is.
