Great movie, but disturbing like hell. I always loved the video games, and it's so cool how they used music from all of the games. The movie is somewhat different and new, but it also keeps to the storyline in the games, that's really fascinating. It's definitely worth watching it, especially for fans.

No, that's one of the things I looked for when I bought the DVD. I saw this at the theater twice and didn't see it; so when I got the DVD, I played around with the picture, but they never showed it. It must have just been a trailer moment.

this is probably the most jacked up scary ass movie i've ever seen. and you can take my word for it, that says a hell of a lot. i don't think i've seen anything rated lower than "R" in like, ten years. and i have seen a LOT of movies.

In the end she brought home the devil instead of Sharpn, notice how odd she acts and looked at Dahlia with that look. Thus, the devil wanted company would never let her return to the 'real world' and Rose stayed as a ghost.

my understanding is that Rose and Sharron died in the car crash and all of those "fanatics" died in the fire and are now wondering around in purgatory. Dark Alessa is the devil trying to bring all of those douches at the church into hell but she needed Rose's help. and she spared rose from hell in gratitude.

Now that makes sense. That's pretty much what I was thinking when I saw the ending to the movie. Oh yeah. That movie is awesome. I hope they come out with a sequel, which for some reason, I'm pretty sure they will.

The sad part is, Akira Yamaoka is the real reason why this movie wasn't as accurate as it could've been. Christophe Gans knew what he was doing, but the producers of the movie wanted to appeal to a wider audience, so they changed it up.

If you don't understand the ending (no offense, SORRY!), it's like this. Alessa united with Sharon making themselves one body. So Rose & Sharon+Alessa can never leave Silent Hill because Alessa loves her mother, Dahlia and would never want to leave her.

Yes, I love the games. I haven't seen the movie yet, but...I'm pretty pissed since they included Pyramid Head and the Agony monsters, which are both James' monsters, they were never even featured in SH1, they were created by James...oh well. =D

I played the Resident evil games and i thought they were really fun but i knew the movie would be crap.Silent Hill has many different creatures and characters and so the audience doesn't know what to expect next which would make it a great movie and the story is solid.
