@FrOZeNFlaMeOfTerrOr Good eyes, man! Truth be told, we did film about 55 takes where the actor was actually whipped but the video tape got damaged and the only thing we could salvage were the takes where the actor didn't get whipped.
one too many lashes they never gave the full 40! they called it 40 but was only 39. if the guy was old or weak the courts would decide how many he could handle so he wouldnt die! if a girl peed during lashing no more were given. if a guy pooped no more were given. but 39 was always the max. biblical speaking that is.
